So have you made a loaf yet purplecatlover?

i have indeed. wa smaking it at 3am so it was nice and ready when i got up at 8. just had a slice with flora on too for brekkers.

second loaf ingredients are in and the timer is set so it will come on while im at the gym and be ready to serve my friends for dinner. trying white this time to see if its any lighter than wholemeal. except i couldnt bring myself to use only white flour so its half and half.

im in love. now i need to buy a slicer since im sure sainsburys wont let me bring them my hm bread to slice.

victory waiting around is the worst thing. good luck.

......I feel your love lol. I switched to WW from SW mainly so I could have big hunks of home made bread and get away with it :)

Who needs a slicer when you got a sharp knife? Homemade lends itself to rustic.. ;)

Just had an email off my mum, finally wishing me well, she claims she never saw the emails (lying is her middle name:rotfl: :rotfl: )but hey she is finally acting a little incy bit like a mother who cares for her lumpy daughter:rotfl: :rotfl:

I am just making my fav celeriac, swede, carrot, turnip mash now incase we are late getting back, having that with WW cottage pie, must cut back loads of calories for the chinese I had the other night, at least now learning that yes I have a blow out but the very next day go back to the WW stuff and therefore not so much guilt and def no damage to weight gain etc because of the calorie reduction to compensate:D bails you have taught me all I know;) food no longer controls me, I control it:D

I am also very much thinking the other way round now, instead of you cannot under any circumstances have x or y, I think yes you can you can have 1 or 2 no more, enjoy, savour and move on, now I have allowed myself the release it works better because I don't hanker for it, binge on it, dream about it because I know I can have it and now more often than not I don't have it or want it , reverse psychology works:rotfl: :rotfl: it shows by my sts each week that a little of what you fancy (not a whole loaf:rotfl: :rotfl: ) can be eaten and not affect anything:D I don't feel the need to join in anymore because I know if I want to I can, to a lesser degree than the others but I can.

    Hey guys!

BB: my silly mother. It was a letter saying how the boots pharmacy is going to be open till midnight. Hand written address you see!

Victory: hope it all goes well this afternoon.

Sports bras: (here i go again) :p Go for shock absorber level 4. Dont go any lower especially if youre D+ Gotta be REALLY tight round the band and i mean TIGHT.

weight loss is going no where fast. Im not motivated to do college work or weight loss. I feel well in limbo at the mo, the end of college is close but still feels far away, the excitment of brighton and i just have this big feeling of im waiting for something but i dunno what.

anyway im off to try and motivate myself, even though i wanna play on the xbox with my boyfriend. grr

    Hey all,

Well done on all the amazing losses- claire that is great. Hugs to victory for this afternoon, I am sure it will be fine!!

I am due to WI 2moro...but I know I have gained...I have ate like a pig this whole week....from about 30 cocktail sausages to crisps, to chocolate (from valentines), to having seconds and thirds after dinner.. to all the bad things you can think off...I am trying to do a recovery detox and eat good things today..but i think it is too late...

Oh well whatever the result I will have to deal with it and work extra hard next week...

Btw purplecatlover sorry to sound simple, but how do you make homemade bread...I am well intrigued..and is it better than wholemeal bread on the shelves?

    Great stuff

    QT x
  • Victory so pleased your mum finally got round to wishing you well. All the best for this afternoon.

... sorry to speak for you purplecatlover, but it's dead simple with a breadmaker, QT.

    320 ml tepid water
    560g strong wholemeal flour
    2 tsp salt
    3 tbsp oil
    2 tbsp sugar
    1 sachet yeast

Chuck it all in the breadmaker, and that's it. Obviously quantities can be a bit varied.. and yes, it's MUCH better :D

Ooooh a breadmaker..I will have to put that on my list..

I didn't even know that wholemeal flour existed...wow!

what does tepid water mean...is it like lukewarm or summat?

    Thanks ajax.....whooohoo
