k according to the machine at the gym 50mins of pilates/yoga burns 1617 ish calories. that seems like way way too many for an exercise that doesnt feel like exercise. is the machine completely wrong?

Jillie, most people are too busy wiping the sweat out of their eyes to see what anyone else looks like. Or else they're so concerned with their own body beautiful that they don't acknowledge the existence of anybody else.
Despite my aversion to exercise I've been in loads of gyms (I try to look as if I'm exercising without actually doing anything at all) and it seems to me anything goes. Just wear what you are comfortable in. I wouldn't go for trackie bottoms on the grounds of overheating .... I wear very thin loose trousers. I think they might be called yoga trousers .... Mr Grannynise wears trackie bottoms but he's VERY fit and doesn't seem to get hot and sweaty. (The gym's upstairs so I'm breathless and dripping before I start.)
Did ANY of that make sense or help???0 -
