I wouldn't ask her it would be a sign of vulnerability on my part and she would relish that and I would not give her the satisfaction;) my mum has always been shall we say 'difficult':rotfl: :rotfl:

I've had a bad day so far, had crisps and chocolate after my lunch which I shouldn't have had. My boyfriends mother had a heart attack last night and is being kept in hospital for a week for observation so I'm not really in a calorie-counting mood :(

I think I can be forgiven for a minor glitch.

    Yesterday I had for instance

    No brekkie

lunch: tuna salad, fresh fruit salad

tea: 3 ww toast and baked beans
3 slices tinned pineapple and a little tip top milk

and that was it! I'm 9.12 and 5' 2" so I would like to get to 9 stone.

    Is this normal?
Suzy - I don't think you are eating enough and you body is panicking and hanging on to its fat reserves. Are you following a particular eating plan? They can help get the portions and correct nutrient balance into your diet for maximum body efficiency. I echo what victory says about breakfast - just a bit of fruit would help kick start you metab in the maorning.
Hi Nessa - sounds like you popped in in the nick of time. Do come back and meet more of us won't you :D . It's a bit quiet today but there plenty of fun and helpful info generally. I'm doing SW: absolutely love it - eat buckets of food and reached target in January. Any questions don't hesitate to ask.
Victory: is it ok to swear about your $*/** mother? It's wonderful to hear how supportive hubby is being. Relieved you 'only' have to wait until Fri. I understand about the dark places your mind is going :grouphug:
Cazzdevil - you certainly can be forgiven. Sorry to hear your news. Sometimes life happens and watching what you eat needs to take a back seat.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
  • thanks katiepoppycat, ill try and stop worrying about the scales so much and stick to the tape measure then, in might manage to settle for happy the dress size drops if it does.

bails im finding rest days rather hard, i dont feel right until ive done at least something and end up sticking on my aerobics or dane workout dvds instead. i think i switched the addiction from smoking to exercise.

I just want to echo everything BB said just now, exactly what I wanted to say! Vic, you don't need you mum, your hubby will be there to support you on Friday. Sending you as many good vibes as I can muster.
Cazzdevil, so sorry to hear your news, totally understandable to have a blip, and that's all it is.

Entirely possible. Please, please do take a rest day AT LEAST once a week though, I promise you are doing yourself (and your WL) more harm than good. It is difficult but take it from me, it's the best way.
Sending big hugs to anyone who is struggling today :grouphug:
