  • Hi folks,

Sorry I've been away for a few days, I've really fallen off the wagon and been a bad bad dellybelly.

First things first, victory - I'm sorry to hear about the lump and not surprised you left it for a while before you dealt with it, completely normal. I'm glad your dementor is behaving herself this weekend. Hope everything works out for you.

BB - glad you had a good time at the dinner and made a few interesting friends. I love it when that happens.:D

bails - I totally couldn't advise you on the gym. I'm currently paying £10 per month membership on a gym I haven't been to simce last July:eek: Not very :money: I can't do anything about it until July as I signed a 14 month contract. Thank goodness it's only £10 per month - having said that, I've got plans for the money when I cancel the membership.

Oh - speaking of money. I've decided not to go back to WW. I haven't stayed for a class in over a month now that OH is back on shifts and I'd really like to take yoga back up again, (can't justify £10 gym membership, £22 on WW and £35 on yoga all in the one month). Besides I get way more support on here than I ever did at my WW class.

Hope you all had a great weekend. I spent mine "cocooning" (staying at home) - we made the mistake of going out to FiL's house yesterday and it's a dump- vaccum cleaner sitting halfway in/out of the hall cupboard, power hose sitting in the front hall - won't be moved for at least the next six months I'm sure (I know this cos I moved the lawnmower out from the front porch into the utility room 2 weeks ago - he hasn't cut the grass since August, dishwasher lying open, cups and glasses and bottles lying everywhere, newspapers scattered everywhere - OH wouldn't let me go upstairs but apparently the contents of the suitcase were dumped out onto the floor  . OH is not a happy chap (neither am I to be perfectly honest). His excuse? He's only back and still trying to find things ... except we didn't move anything. What a way to show your love and appreciation to your son who took 5 of 16 days annual leave to redecorate your home. We've decided not to go back out and give him back the key to the house. (can't wait to see him personally - cos I'm going to tear him a new a**e hole)

I'm just trying to figure out if I would use it more as it is so ridiculously close.
I get where you are coming from bails: sometimes when you are not feeling well, the distance to a place feels like a huge effort in itself. If you could just give it a go for a month...
delly - is this going to be a case of a leopard not changing his spots - very disappointing for you both.
vix - I salute the wearing of the purple dress:D
...Just taken Shadow for a stroll around the Hoe :D it's nice and sunny here, even if it is a little cold still. Now I am jealous Raph!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
  • ooh vix I'm dad jealous, I love duck. Even though it's cute and cuddly I'm still happy to eat it. Like lamb, I've been known to come back from petting the lambs at the local farm and dish up a roast lamb dinner. I'm a bit heartless I suppose.

Delly, I'm fuming for you! You did a great job and I think he did appreciate it. I think you are best off staying away for a bit, let him get his act together and don't look at the cleaning.

where has today gone? I ran a few errands, did a bit of cooking and some cleaning and now it's 2130! arrgh! Just had some badish news from my mum too. My l'il bro has a back to back cottage that he bought when he was 18 ( loooong story) with a mortgage for £14.5k that works out at £90 pcm. Would you believe that he's built up £700 worth of arrears and is having to sell it? I just want to go around there and shake him till his teeth rattle. He earns more than I do, he's an electrician!

The duck was ok folks! heh.

delly: you must want to strangle him!

Katiepoppycat: youre brother is a total moron! I would die for a house. It cost my brother 210 grand for a terrace house with 2 bedrooms. Pretty small! That was in 2001 so i hate to think what it would be worth now. £90 for a mortgage? cor. I always presume that other parts of the country have houses that are dead expensive too! when i went to coventry i looked at house prices and couldnt believe it!

anyway, im zonked. Have a good monday everyone! heres to the start of a fresh new week.
  • WI this morning, pleased to have a loss of 0.4 lbs. It should have been more going by my pattern, but still in the right direction :D Hopefully the gym will kick start it again this week.

MIL off soon, taking kids with her until sat, kids very excited, lots of screaming:rotfl: :rotfl: it went far better than every expected and now we get the week alone, hopefully not to dwell in lump misery but to ourselves:D

Good luck to all the weigh in's today, have a great day , I am going to spend it doing house work because I am very particular and people have touched my clean towels:rotfl: :rotfl:

  • Glad your weekend was good with your MIL victory - enjoy the peace and quiet while it lasts!

And as for people touching your clean towels, I know exactly what you meant....

bb I feel it probably is a case of a leopard never changing his spots, but he didn't even TRY for a couple of days. The worst of it for me is that I had been so annoyed that I didn't get to finish cleaning the kitchen (a waste of energy), and that I'd had to scrub the bathroom walls so hard I ended up having to put ibprofen gel on my arms the first night so I could get some sleep. (another waste of effort and energy).. I needn't have bothered and that's what REALLY rags me.

sts for me this week please gn as I'm quitting WW and moving my WI to at home (probably monday mornings). I'll have a proper result next week.

    Morning all

**GRANNYNISE!** - please could you put me down for a 1lb loss this week. Completely bemused by that as I was over my allowance all week, but haven't time to think about it in any detail right now.

Last night my latest round of ebay auctions finished, I was originally hoping for £100 but got a massive £416! I'm now into four figures for the year so far, just on stuff I'm getting rid of from my house!

I will be parcelling and doing trips to the post office all day today :rotfl:

Good luck everyone still to weigh!
