  • ooooh, granny sounds fab! have a great time. And given the choice between a facial or exercise, I know what the sensible choice is. (unless you are one of those sadists like Missy or Suggs who actually LIKE exercise)Hope Victory is okay with her dementor.

Thanks for the welcome back Bails, I've missed you guys. had a poo day at work today, office politics getting me down. But it's tjhe weekend now which is yay!

dribbling at the thought of BB's shoes. Do you keep sneaking a peek at them and grinning to yourself? Might have to wear my sparkly puprple heels around the house for the rest of the night which will cheer up OH no end . . .

Watching bbc2 the choir at the mo -very uplifting - snotty adolescent boys who think singing is 'gay' being transformed by a very talented choir master. i'll see if OH will do photo after

  • Hi Everyone
Victory - am really sorry to hear about the lump. What a worry for you. I hope the appointment comes through quickly for you. But what a lovely person you are to go to so much trouble for your MiL when you have worries of your own. I do hope she appreciates it. XX

Granny...... have a lovely time away at your spa. What a fantastic thing to do after Ofsted. Relax and enjoy..........

Had day off work (hurrah! :j ) and went to visit my daughter which was lovely. Went out for lunch and stuck to a chicken salad but this was to try and make up for the chocolate I ate yesterday :o and the biscuits the day before that  . Then we went off to Primark to get some bargains.

    xx

suzy thanks, katie, the dementor is quiet, happy and smiling and very interacting with her grandkids so can't ask for more:D

No, my mum moans about the wait but loaded as she is and she is (well via her live in partner) she would not pay for me to go private, will just have to wait.

It is all good, makes you focus on what is worth the worry, MIL isn't and she is very well behaved so far, even said some compliments to me 'my you have lost a lot of weight' 'thanks for the dinner, lovely' so it is :D only 48 hours to go;)

granny have a fab time xx

bb what did you choose off the menu? How much is obscenely expensive , ha ha, show us!!

Ok just a quickie for me as I'm in the middle of birthday cake making - 9 yr old girl - High school musical !

I managed a maintain this week again which although not ideal I am very pleased with as it's been a struggle to ensure we eat the last two weeks never mind what we're eating. Birthday party tomorrow with all the family so will be back on the slim and narrow ! from Sunday properly although I will try to be good Saturday as well.

Hi to all the new members,
    Congrats to the losers,
    big hugs to Victory
    Thanks to GN

I'll tell you what victory - you tell me what you think would be obscenely expensive, so I have a clue as to how much shame I might bring on myself by confessing:rotfl: . No photo tonight peeps - been seduced by more tv and now dribbling with fatigue, so off to bed. I find I get crushingly tired very suddenly at the mo and getting over tired makes my joints worse so have learnt to go to bed quick.
As for grub tomorrow - starter of tomato, mozzarella cheese and pesto. Then Roast Aberdeen Angus for main. Not having a pudding (there wasn't one I really fancied, so didn't want to have something out of habit).
Well don susy on sensible options today to off set chocies. And well done for sts Jules - given what is going on for you you have been doing very well:T

Morning peeps:D waiting for MIL to wake up so all quiet o nthe western front:rotfl:

Now, obscenely expensive for shoes? £400?:rotfl: :rotfl: my friends went out for dinner for valentine's day and it came to £200, now that is expensive:eek:

My mum always says you can afford what you want to afford so whatever the price it was worth it to you;) :D

We are off picnic style to a huge park to entertain nanny and the kids, freezing here so looking forward to it...NOT:rotfl: at least we will be out of the house and the kids will be happy;)

MIL eats as little as a little toddler does, yesterday's meal was a few mouthfuls and that was that so not too bothered about what to cook for her this evening as I won't need much:D maybe I should take a lesson from her and eat that way;)
