hi all I have lurked and watched this thread for a wee while. I dont have a clue what I currently weigh, and have never associated weight with width, but over the past few months I have balooned outward - hubby keeps referring to my belly as 'the baby' its that BIG
Last time I lost weight was through stress and I ended up seriously skinny, and I've been saying, 'well Im fat and happy' but Im not, I need to slim a fair bit and am looking for a kick start and any advice as I dont actually eat that much!
skint but in luv :kisses2:0 -
Heya!!
Ok...
Big well dones with the Ofsted Granny, I guess you're off on half term next week? Gotta love school holidays... Well, I don't, it means town is full of teenagers, but hey, at least I don't have any kids at home for the week lol (not that I have any kids. I don't. But you know what I meant!)
Vix, don't complain, a 2.2 is great! Will it bring your average down at all? Thats the only thing I'd be worrying about!
Sounds like everyone had a good Valetines, plenty of embarrassing displays of affection going on... Luckily (?) I didn't need to worry about it this year... No bloke, and not rushing out to get one either! The (only) guy on my course at uni tho was a complete softy and turned up with flowers and chocolates to share amongst all the girls on the course. Seriously, he's very well trained... Bakes cake too :P
Hello all the lovely new people... I can't remember names (I struggle with my own half the time), but yeah... *waves*
The house looks great Delly - I hope they are very appreciative
Thats great news about the consultant-bod Brighton Belle, and very impressed about the apology! Those are always nice to get lol
Um... I'm sure there was other stuff I was gonna reply to... But I can't remember what now! Happy Friday everyone!**"Cheer up, it could get worse" - I cheered up, and look, it got worse!**0 -
I have found a lump at the side of my breast, have known there was something there for a few months now but never had the courage to confront it and now last night I did and it is there, a lump, docs at 10, I guess it has to be dealt with:rolleyes:0

Oh Victory, I do hope it is nothing serious. Let us know how you get on xx
Hi Donna and welcome to the thread, you'll get lots of lovely support and help here. I guess the first thing is to find out what you weigh, then keep a food diary for a week to see what you are eating. This will give you a better indication of what your next steps need to be. Good luck and post as often as you can for lots of support. The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

thinking of you victory. phone the MIL NOW and tell her not to come and tell her why. The last thing you need is more stress.

Morning peeps, bit of an early start for me this morning as OH went to work early, but guess it's a great excuse to get on with sorting things out
I've taken my readings and noted them down, and I've decided to go back to basics and write down everything for this week, to see where I am. I know exactly what has been going on, so that's great, now I just need to deal with it in a more caring way.
KPC, great to have you back! I agree completely about going abroad and finding mini-Britville  Great advice about cancelling the MiL, that's definitely the last thing you need Victory.
Have a great Friday everyone, half term here we come! xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Ooh good luck with that Victory, hope all goes well, it's always best to get these things checked out so bravo to your braveness.
Morning all! I tried desperately to cook a nice healthy 3 course meal for OH last night for Vals day (even though we said we weren't celebrating it), and we ended up with garlic mushrooms (I stink today), honey & mustard chicken with mash and cheesy baked leeks, and balsamic & black pepper strawbs for dessert. Fairly healthy minus the cheese sauce on the leeks but stuck to good portions so even after the 3 courses I wasn't really full.
Gonna be SUPER good today to make up for it though0 -
Thanks
been to docs and been sent for a scan and mammogram in a few weeks will get the appointment and then the see, feel petrified, wanted to pay for private but have no BUPA etc so the doc said wait and she will see to it;)
MIL coming at 4pm, not bothered, bigger things to worry about, every single cupboard, inside and out is spotless clean, washed all the bedding and towels, de cluttered big time, ha ha, H says it looks sterile, like no one lives here!!, have put flowers in her bedroom, one of those flameless smelly candles, some mags to read, everything is spotless, having a roast for dinner the easy way from a packet so no worries there:D
Made the WW gravy, apple pie from a packet for afters with custard, will not be having that myself but she will be ableto see I have made every effort to make her stay comfortable:D0
