I totally agree it's a nightmare trying to find a plain bra for big boobs I don't want thick lacy straps, I don't want 'itchy nipple' lace and I don't want it in a mish-mash of colours!!!! What I want is white or black, seam-free cup with as thin straps as is possible (weight of large boobs taken into consideration) and low cut enough at the front so it doesn't show when your wearing a vest/low cut top. Seems to be asking the impossible though
Vix great advice though I am definately going to get measured again soon as I have been wearing a 40E forever! What kind of thing do you want in Brighton?? I don't think any hotels have private car parking (unless you do the grand ££'cha-ching'££) and to park IN brighton would cost you as much as the hotel stay! You could try a B&B in Hove or a hotel there as even though you still have voucher parking in that area you can normally buy it cheaper if you are a 'resident' at the hotel then you can just bus into brighton town centre, which is probably the better option. If not there are loads of little B&B's dotted around in upper rock gardens that always look quite nice and you can just walk straight down to the seafront from there.
Diet is going ok ish this week. Had a big blowout yesterday with a really delicious roast and then home-made bakewell tart and custard (god bless my mother)!! Had a dodgy tum today though so think I over did it!
Car is going back to the garage on wednesday as it's still not working right  hopefully won't end up with another bill!
Hope everyone else is doing ok good luck for weigh in's well done Raphael, Missyg and Dragon :grouphug:Goal weight....lighter than when I started0 -
Hi,
Sorry to barge in on you all in here, but I have a feeling i might get the answer i need from somebody here....
I am considering joining Slimming World, however, do I need to turn up at the exact time advertised or can i turn up later to be weighed?? also if i go for a week or two and don't like it can i just stop going??
I have tried to phone my local lady today but could get no reply, I will try tommorrow but then had the dea of asking on here, so i may not need to phone her.
The class is on a wednesday in my area, so i'm really tying to find out the answers before then...

Raphael, well done on your loss today too! I went back through my weight loss weekly stats recently and tried to see whether there were any patterns with TOTM such as smaller losses that week and bigger ones the week after, but there didn't seem to be anything to suggest it played much of a part. Like you, I definitely feel more bloated at those times though
Just looking back on my records I seem to lose a large amount the week after TOTM, then 2 steady weeks of about 1-2 lbs, then a small amount the week before.
Woke up early this morning to do my yoga before work, but I got bad stomach cramps so went back to bed with a hotwater bottle for an hour. I will do it later today, but might just do 6 of the 12 positions.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

so is yoga really working for you then Raphael? I tried it once and fell asleep in the class and never dared go for that again. Reporting in with a 1.6kg gain over the last two weeks which could have been a whole lot worse i suppose. Everythings back on an even keel now so I can really get cracking ont he weight loss - I have my first event at Warwick Castle at Easter and I want to lost 5kg by then.
Delly, glad to hear that your hard work was appreciated, and I really like your advice about the snipey types and I shall try to take it.0 -
Hi all, 1lb loss this week. It's a start......
Sorry got to dash.....work calls....... xxSealed Pot Challenge No. 9140 -
Gooood morning, morning, morning.
Got a 1lb gain this week (boo, hiss). On a plus point though, I am the weight I was when I went to uni at 18. I bet not many people can say that (one of the joys of being the fat kid at school, lol!)
Worked out that I need to hit 13st 8lbs to reach the 5lb target for the month. And I'm 13st 12lb at the mo.
Right suppose I should get some work done. Going to see Cloverfield at the pictures tonight, it's cheap night at the Showcase. My OH is treating me for Valentine's Day and I've said I'll buy him a Subway afterwards. Who says romance is dead??:DPlease continue to hold the line. Your call is very important to us and will be answered by next available robot...0 -
Happy with this weeks loss of 2.5lbs, another 2lb and I'd have lost a stone in 6weeks!
Fingers crossed xx

I have just finished my H valentine's day hamper I have made for him, in it is dark galaxy bar, two little books, some lingerie, a menu(got a proper leather bound restaurant one from a charity shop) of what dinner will be, prawn cocktail, salmon stir fry and choc mousse, a fridge magnet whith a declaration of love, a card obviously:D and a hand writen love message that looks like a scroll tied up with red ribbon. All that in a heart cellophane bag.
I really want a Jo malone candle, very expensive but keep reading about them, those and aveda or www.bogstandard.co.uk ones that are a lot cheaper but really want a Jo malone one, anyone had one? I am really spending only what is necessary to save for the hols in the summer so should not even be looking at indulgent candles but really want one!!0
