Morning all........................(((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))) if you need one.
Fuming this morning, OH has an annuity that should have been paid 2nd Jan. we phoned last week and were told that it would be paid immediately, it still isn't in our account. OH has just phoned and given them a blast............they say it went on Saturday, but cannot tell us where. After my friends experience with her money going into someone elses account I tild him to ask for both the a/c no and sort code.
Brighter morning, but very windy, have phoned the housing people about my friends roof, so its out of my hands now..we wait for a phone call and a visit from the roofing people.
Nothing planned for today, the house is reasonable, laundry up to date, not enough whits to do a wash as yet, maybe later in the week. Going out for a walk later.
Have a good day..........................Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -

HM lasagne for dinner, left over rice pudding for pudding (although just for OH as I didn't really like it!).

Don't worry Merlot, I haven't done anything yet either
The PC refused to start, told me there was a file missing. I don't see how, I did a complete wipe and re-install of everything yesterday. So I tried everything (or so I thought) and nothing worked. I went on mr tru's work laptop and searched google for the 'missing' file, found a techie forum with my problem on it and loads of complicated suggestions. Right at the end of the thread was a post which said 'Have you tried the obvious? Make sure the PC is set to boot up from your hard drive.' I checked and 2 boot up places (or whatever that secton is called lol) were set to 'CD ROM' and the other was set to 'Floppy'So I sorted it and am very happy now
I've usually done my clicks by 7.30am, just off to start them now :rolleyes:Bulletproof0 -

I still haven't....I MUST get off this chair and do something NOW!"Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age. Nothing does, except wrinkles. It's true, some wines improve with age. But only if the grapes were good in the first place." — Abigail Van Buren0 -

I dried some clothes in td and folded them before I left
Refilled dw and switched it on.

Morning all,
Up early this morning to take DGS2 to school as DD4 has an exam and couldn't do both! Have made Irish stew for OH dinner, am going to have something out of freezer myself, as freezer stuff not OH's favourite...difficult to fool him too as he is here all the time...would love one day a week that he went somewhere, he goes for paper in morning and that's it.
Nothing exciting to report, going to sow a few seeds to-day, not sure what yet, probably some salad stuff, might put that in greenhouse with lemon and orange pips to make plants for next Christmas.
Hugs to all feeling the need, have a good day

Morning all,
Not feeling any better today - because my temperature is so up and down, I had dreadful nightmares last night. I woke up from one of them screaming the house down and absolutely drenched in sweat, but was shivering uncontrollably. Will have to apologise to the neighbours later.
I am glad we have a chair on our middle landing - walking down half a dozen stairs wiped me out this morning - had to sit down and have a rest. Work asked me to go in 6-6 last night, I said no, then they asked me to work again today and I had to say no. They don't seem very happy but that is just tough - if I can't even walk down the stairs, I'm hardly fit to work am I?? I could go in, but I would be no use to anyone and it would just prolong the whole affair because I am not resting and making myself better.
So today, I want to finish the ironing (sitting down of course) and will get OH to change the bed later. Other than that, will be typing my menu plans up on the computer I think - fortunately I still have the strength to scroll and type
Dinner tonight is roast lamb steaks atop mediteranean vegetables (recipe on the butternut squash thread)We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0
