Morning all :hello:
Get well soon N9Eav and Jayward, x
Belated birthday wishes to Lilibet.
I'm a bit wrecked after our weekend of "changing rooms" so I'll stay at home today. Will fit a bit of office work in around the washing, ironing, cooking and cleaning and, er, resting.
We made a dent in the gammon last night. So far it has fed 5 people for dinner and made 2 6l pots of pea and ham soup. Tonight we're having ham and mushroom pancakes. I'll make double the mixture and freeze and then that only leaves me with about 3 kilos still to use.
I'm starting to fill the freezer in preparation for going into hospital 2 weeks tomoorrow. I don't want OH going near Tesco and blowing my budget.
Pink is coming over when I get out so I'm hoping she'll replenish all that they have eaten with her lovely cooking.
DW and WM are on and house is pretty tidy so I just need to get the ironing away and pop into the garden to feed the birds.
Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all
Hope you all had a good weekend. Saturday's exam went fine - one student turned up in his dressing gown (I *hope* he only lives across the quad and hadn't walked halfway across town like that!) but other than that it was uneventful - which is good.Lots of fiddly bits to do today, but i am determined to go home at a reasonable time! Hope you all have a good day

Ellie and Chalky:hello:
didn't get to read or post on the daily yesterday, just wasn't time.Am off to work soon untill 10pm but then I've got 2 days off:j
DH has finally got his appointment for his MRI scan on his back on the 24th Jan - hopefully we will get some answers! I am still waiting for my appointment for my colposcopy.I spoke to the doctor on Friday and he said to give it 2 more weeks then if it hadn't come he will chase it up.
He said they may treat me as before with a small op or by burning away the bad cells or they may agree to a hysterectomy as its been going on for 15 years! not sure what i want to do, will wait and see how serious it is.He said the tests said it was moderate at the moment.
I hope you all have a good day.
Take care xxxDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning everyone.
Hugs to everyone who is feeling poorly or just needs a hug.
Happy Birthday and belated birthday wishes to those with birthdays.
If i could stop yawning this morning i might be able to get something doneDS3 has tootled off to school. Leaving DS2 in bed, we are not sure if he has chicken pox or just allergies ? I suppose time will tell. He has had anti allergy tabs for 2 days now. Hoping thats all it s. Going to get him up and give him a checkover again soon.
The WM is about 20 minutes off finishing. Then i can get on and do my 1st day of 'flybaby ing'. Once i have put the BM on.
I have a huuuuuge DLA form that i should fill in. I think i am going to aim for doing it a section at a time. They are so confussing. But unfortunately i cannot get out to get any help. I had the first forms sent to me a year ago, cried and put them back into the cupboard where they stayed. I have to really get them done now. So thats my aim for today.
Soup and HM bread for lunch for me today
Then i will menu plan and decide whats for tea

Good morning everyone,
Haven't had a chance to post much over the last few days but I have been skimming the board at times. It's just been head down and ring up for us atm.DH back at work tomorrow. Leaves me with the big clean up of course. I looked after DGS for the afternoon and early evening. He had tea here and has basically just left. He got bitten by a wasp while helping Poppa. Nurse Ninny saved the day.
CM Is it really necessary to include HM bread in every post you make?
Lilibet Happy belated birthday for yesterday.
<Hugs> to those all feeling sick and yes 9Neav that was too much information.
Mrs Mix :hello:
Moiliere Hair has been put back until Wed & XDIL is doing it. Mmmmmmmm on second thoughts, maybe that's a bad idea.
Off to have a surf & shower, then unwind. Hope you all have a great day. ByeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Morning all:wave:
Jayward - i hope you feel better for being at home. Sounds like you didn't get much of a chance to actually get some rest in hospital. Hope you feel better soon. Give yourself some serious pampering!
Have an eye test this morning _ I use glasses from the library for reading now but have finally got round to get them tested properly. I'll wait til later in the week to pick frames when DD is home.
I am home alone at the mo as OH is away. Well I have the dogs but they don't say much. I'm finding it hard because I'm off work. I don't *manage* living on my own very well although i should be used to it with OH's work. That's what is so special about coming on here - there seems to be a load of friendly people in my livingroom
Other plans for they day - walk doggies, do some more ironing (the pile is MASSIVE) and clean DD's bedroom in prep for her coming on Friday
Might go into Boots to see if sale is on. Need also to buy milk but staying out of supermarkets.
Take care all

morning all not off to a good start this am washing machine has broken and they all came home with filthy clothes shoes etc and now cant fit the charger into OH phone so i dont know what he has done my patience at this point is wearing very very thin and i feel like i could cry

my husband has asked a neighbour to take me to the gp ,i dont like to ask for help and would have got a taxi he must be worried:eek: i normally sort myself out and everything in the house its hard to give up tasks you want to do or have done all your married life is it a women thing0 -
Good Morning all, I'm just back from school and I literally took my clothes off behind the glass front door (I'm so glad the post man wasn't early), its raining very hard - bouncing off the road, so I'm sat here with virtually nothing on, will get showered in a min.
Gosh, I feel worn out, you all achieve so much so early in the morning, DW, BM, going running, out for a bike ride, I feel like a slob....must try harder, (it would help if I kept off this computer:D ).
Anyway my plans are,
put slow cooker on with chicken in.
Clean house (well attempt)
phone my mother for our daily chat about the weather, price of potatoes etc.
DFS man coming out to my sofa this morning, the colour is lifting of the leather sofa, and its out of warranty, so he's coming out to re-colour it for cash in hand - £20, but its worth it.
Hugs to all unwell and have a productive Monday.
Edit - I've just read Tired mum post - sending you a hug, hope the day improves for you, flipping washing machines, we rely on them so much, theirs always something, if its not the kettle not working, its the iron which flips the electricity off and then the Dish Washer breaks down, you have my sympathies.

Goodmorning everyone
hope all are well and hugs to anyone that needs or wants one xxx
what a weekend, got everything done apart from my kitchen (which is thursday nights job after the boys have go to there dads) feeling really chuffed, even tackeled the sofa, washed every cushion, and got the upholstry tool from my carpet cleaner to do the sofa bases, sides back etc, all i have to do this morning is put all the clean washing away (its ironed folded etc) and unpack the bag the boys had at there dads (more ironing, he washed everything but doesnt iron it)
had my hair cut saturday, wish id had it a little shorter at the back (its layered) but not paying another 24 to have an inch or so off the back so will live with it
just some wipeing over/hoovering to get done today, best off all, all the cleaning i did was done with about 2cms out of my bottle or stardrops and 4 microfibre clothes so cost peanuts in cleaning materials (saving me around 250 against the cost of having my house cleaned when i move, its my mess as such so i will be the one cleaning it)
as soon as im unpacked ive got to pack again, the boys to go to there dads, and me for my weekend away, my first night out comeing up on saturday in ages (well over 2 years).
have a good dayDFW nerd club number 039'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' :money: i will be debt free aug 2010
