Csarina, you are so clever, the cards are gorgeous.

Mioliere, I have a flowered walking stick, we bought it at the garden centre. I want a fancy wheelchair, I hate my black thing, why don't they make them in trendy colours? I fancy a zebra print.

Just getting over this awful flu, it's taking a lot longer than I expected. The house is an absolute tip. DH does his best with cleaning but we still have some Christmas stuff hanging about, mainly chocolates which I don't particularly like - prefer jelly beans. Also have 3 tins of biscuits and we have just eaten shortbread we were given last Christmas. We have about 30 fancy candles which I have been given as gifts, should be OK if we have a power cut, lol.

I will try and do some clearing up tomorrow after my visit to the Dr, more blood tests etc. what joy.

    Love to all.

csarina those cards are beautiful..............you must have such patience as well as skill. Wish I could do something like that. My cards are limited to cutting something out and sticking it on.............lol
Well what an afternoon................meeting with soc.services went on and on (as always) no sooner one soc.worker left than another arrived. One of our lads had been involved in shall we say, an 'incident'..........for some reason he thinks his mate (involved on a higher scale) is still a mate worth having and no amount of talking to him or discussing made any difference.Felt like asking someone to point me at the nearest brick wall !!
    One day he'll realise................hopefully.
All this left me with yet more paperwork to keep on file, phone calls made this morning awaiting return call ..............well it just never happened so tomorrow I've got to start again ! Feel totally washed out now...........but I did manage to get the hoovering done, dinner was sorted in advance so no problem there.Having devoured lovely roast pork, roast potatos and cabbage I'm now calling it a day, grabbing the sofa and drifting off int oblivion while I watch the tele with OH.
Maybe (fingers crossed) tomorrow will run a bit smoother and I can actually get something done that's on my 'to do' list..............:j

    Hello to my wonderful friends

Been a bit out of the loop what with Christmas. New Year and now the kitchen planning (and big money!). It is so scary to be spending so much money but hoping the planning OK. DD's suggestions were fantastic and have taken them on board. She was so right when we did the bathroom! The knock-on expenditure a wee bit scary but might as well do the fish tank and the cupboard in the porch! Never mind the spoons, ladles etc!!!!!

Still down lots at work re internet so only catching up intermittently.

Haribo - don't know what I have missed but obviously you going in for surgery and Pink coming to sort you out after. Hope you are OK.

Aussie - my friend's daughter had a fantastic time in Aussielass land!

We have loads of folk with the D+V bug - just hope it doesn't hit here. DH just paid more than £50 for his South Africa medication for February - had to get a Rabies booster which has cost us £30+ however he has to be covered. And then his anti-Malaria!

Might be going to Florida in November. DB being a total sh@@@e. Mum is 82. He didn't phone at Christmas. Mum wants to go out there herself. DS and I can't allow that one - she is not able. I think we have to escort. So sorry that he doesn't feel he can come home.

Mum's blue eyed boy the bees knees!

Love and hugs to you all - do know some of you having difficult days. I did do the ironing tonight!

No - We have not sold the house yet but DH is convinced the more stuff he puts in storage the better things will be!

    I am less convinced!!!!

With my 22 year old DD having started work in Oxford and my 18 (nearly 19) year old DD at uni in Newcastle we have decided to put dd (14) into the bedroom her sisters used to have and to have the bedroom at the back of the house as a spare for when her two sisters come back now and then.

This involves cleaning and clearing from top to bottom!

Once this is done we can do the same to the back bedroom and then to our bedroom - chucking out stuff we do not need etc.

Amend to add chucking out stuff DH does not want because he does not have a clue what it is and I am getting sick of buying stuff over and over to replace it because he has "tidied!"

Our house is still on the market and the "eccentric millionaire " has not been back for the in depth second visit he said he wanted! What a surprise.

I will not stress - I will not stress!" lol

Just come back from an Options evening at DD's school to discuss what GCSEs she will take. By the time you do this for the fourth time you get a bit less frazzeled!

Maybe we should raffle the house on old style?

Granny Goodness why wouldn't she have a fantastic time. Everyone knows it's the best country in the world. :D BTW wmf I live just off Brisbane. We are still classed as Brisbane here albeit a stretch of water is in between.

Well woke up to drizzle this morning. DH went off to work but I wouldn't be surprised if they come home shortly. Drat. I work best home alone. :D I have my note written of all the things I want to get done and was looking forward to crossing them off.

Beautiful cards Csarina. I'm sure you'll have no trouble selling them.
Twink Has your wee pond frozen over this winter yet? I can't believe it's a year ago that we were packing madly to come over. Time flies.

Well I better keep going. Hope you all have a good night's sleep. Byeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
