Another super busy day for you Rach

Shirley it's fab to get into a 'proper' bed after sleeping on a mattress (I've done it too) you'll have the best night's sleep.

Ok, been into town and bought what I needed to, posted the dvd's on the way so that's two jobs to strike off the list. Gonna make a brew now to warm through and then get cracking on the rest.
  • Lovely lie-in 'til 8 and my battery is nearly recharged. Cuppa number 2 then I'm going to get dressed and see what needs to be done today. I'll come back later with a list I think.

Embb, kept forgetting to say in the week, a new hair do and an interview, what a confidence boost! Good luck with it, Ducks!

Rach and Michelle, don't overdo it today!

Yes, roll on spring and the two 'free' council tax months!

    Morning all

finally managed to catch up with you all last night! Took most of the evening!!! Hugs to everyone.

Well another working week out the way. My two mates who are being moved to another branch worked their last day this week so it was a bid sad. We also had some bloke in who was assessing how the branch is doing on some scheme the bank is putting into all branches. He asked me what the 'queuing standard was under TOP' (don't ask me what it stands for!) I said 'no idea, ask me when anyone has spoken to me about TOP' (they have been rolling it our for about the last 12 months) He was a tad surprised when I told him no one had spoken to me about it lol and then broadly left me alone after telling me the 'standard' is 2 - 4 mins. ie we are supposed to make customers queue for between 2 and 4 mins so they have time to read the marketing literature before we try and refer them for an 'account review'

Anyway enough of work, A has her swimming lesson this morning and then she is off to the Arena to see High School Musical on Ice. While she is there W and I will get sorting around here, ok I will get sorting round here!

  • Morning lovely ladies. One week Rach - how very exciting. And you'll have so much free time when it is all done.

I've had a bit of a lie in this morning. I woke up at 4:30, but then managed to get back to sleep - DH got up with charlie at 7, and i was in bed till 8. Could have stayed longer but the guilt gene kicked in saying 'come on - too much to do and not enough time'

We've had a good sort out in the spare room. Found a few things that were missing, like a xmas pressie for each of my sisters, and DH's torch. DH keeps saying, oh -and there is this, but i did know we had most of it, i just shoved it where there was a gap. I can currently hear the hoover going upstairs, and i have not done a great deal of the stuff. The room was not as bad as we thought actually once we moved the clothes a bit.

Anyway - lots to do, so i will get on, but drink one of them cuppas 1st.

    Michelle, x
  • More tea!
Dressed and I've just finished level 3 in my bedroom that I didn't get done in the week. I've been through my drawers and refolded, generated some washing and some buttons that need sewing on and made a few new dusters, nothing worth charity shopping though. It's good to get the windows open for a bit too even if it is freezing. I've started a pile of things that belong to other people and things that I'll offload when I next see my Mum and my cuz. I'm going to keep it in the boot of the car 'cos I know I'll forget otherwise.

Right, I'm ready to bring some order to the livingroom and see what jobs that throws up..

Plants are standing in the kitchen sink, so kitchen S&S can wait 'til last.

Ok, spuds peeled and ready in the pan for tea - I bought some sausages that were on offer at m&s so we're having those with mash and beans. Presents wrapped and my card written, the other two will write their own and all is stored in the top of my wardrobe where littley cannot see them.

S&S'd the kitchen, emptied the DW, reloaded it, put rubbish in bin outside (got another one to go out now) meter readings taken but there's two on the leccy meter and don't know which one it is - will have to ask OH to have a look as I daren't phone the wrong one in lol. Put one load of washing on the maiden cause teenie's mates' bike is in the way of the dryer and cannot be faffed.

    Where's Soappie

    [STRIKE]Go to shops
    make my bed
    S&S kitchen
    empty DW
    reload DW
TD x 2 on maiden instead
    WM x 1
    sort tea
    write cards out
    wrap pressies
    [/STRIKE]clean/sort/tidy in spare room (maybe)
fold & put away dry washing
    [STRIKE]rubbish in bin outside
take meter readings [/STRIKE]and phone them in
    [STRIKE]post lovefilm dvd's[/STRIKE]
