For the asthma peeps - would you be able to get a prepay cert at the chemists? Would that work out cheaper for you?
Terramundi pots - there is a thread on DFW (sorry dont know how to do links). Someone there explains how to get the money out without smashing the pot.0 -

Just a quick one from me this evening. DH treating us to a chiense, first take away of the year so haven't done too bad. Neighbour just texted me asking us to Centre Parcs with them all for the weekend if we can argee on a date, sounds great, only about 30mins from us so ideal for the kids and we've a 20%off code - very MSE!
Poohbear - well done on the goose, very organised!
Lil me - huge hugs, things seem to all happen at once, good luck tomorrow in the boys room!
Serena/Dusty - I loooovvvvvveeeee Boots too, got some great bargins in their online sale before christmas, then at meadowhall last week (got some pressies to put away for LO's) and then at the 75% off. Love those extra points coupons too always seem to get loads when I get nappies from there, have given my mum one of my £5off vouchers as got about 5! My neighbour works quite high up there (head office only about 20mins away from us) and its amazing what they buy stuff in at so no wonder they do great deals.

Hello all!
Had a successful HHC - hoovered all upstairs, cleared dd's floor!, put some washing away - then went to collect dd's and we went to the library - came back and did another HHC - made littlies tea, whilst they ate it I made our bol sauce, washed up, s & s'd kitchen and cleaned highchair then a bit later did HHI and put away whilst OH bathed LO.
Have now dropped DD's at youth club, OH got LO to bed and we have enjoyed spag bol & a glass of wine - well deserved!
Thanks for the swimming info Tracy - will look into that at our local pools - I am like you - I want my kiddies to be more confident swimmers than I am!! a lot more!
We went to Sherwood Centre Parcs in September and LOVED it! Great that you are so friendly with your new neighbours now that they have invited you.
More hugs for lilme and sorry embb - all my energy well and truly used up now! - gonna watch soaps all night - Vera's last ones bless her!0 -
Evening all
Special hugs to day to lilme, toria and polly bear (as I have managed to catch up on some of the thread!)
I've really let the side down this week as yet another day and nothing done so challenge for tomorrow is to play a massive catch up, so this evening I'm going to make my ME time and do nothing.
Didnt even make tea tonight, I let DD (8) do it (and she managed it all herself it was so easy) plus it was delicious. We had one of those nachos box things with the refried beans. Never tried it before, but DS and I liked it so much we ate the lot between us (DD didnt like it and OH not home), it was meant for 4 people so we're stuffed.
And just to make you all smile today.............
Had a massive panic this morning as received a call from DS mobile at 09:10 which I answered and noone would speak to me. Tried calling the number back and it rang and rang and rang but noone answered. DS was supposed to be in school and on a school trip but had said to me yesterday that he NEVER takes his phone to school so I began to panic. Was he laid at home on the floor or something, or worse still had we got a burglar in the house who'd grabbed his phone and rung me by mistake, or had DS taken phone and it was in the bottom of his bag and had called me! Contacted OH who was not local and I was at least 1/2 hour away so neither of us could go and check. Rang DS school and he had registered so they tried to make contact with him to see if he had got his phone or whether I needed to call police. Eventually OH manages to get a gap between jobs and goes home, everywhere secure and the school phoned to say DS hadnt got phone. Conclusion - dear little doogie must have jumped on the arm of the chair in DS room where the phone laid and put his paw on it to dial me :rotfl:
Hope you all have a good evening and I will catch you when I fly tomorrow.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
