Managed to finish the bathroom, test the alarms and tidy upstairs oh and have a good shout at all of the children.

Going to do tea now and wash up/tidy whilst it is cooking and then that will be me done flying wise for the day - may try to do my desk later.

Pigpen Glad Lila Bunny likes her new toy! Those balls are great, is it the one with carrots on it and you can adjust the size of the hole? She will be happier with that rather than digging! Also dove deodorant is good for that... pong...

Yes it is that one! .. I have some little carrot treats which I tip in and they have had great fun with.

Polly.. 5 minute exercise is better than none at all.. The weekend is exercise free though.. so you can delay it until Monday.. and I'll remind you!

lilo - I'm just down the road in Canterbury - so if you want to exchange money saving tips over a coffee sometime, let me know!!

I've done nothing else, except read since I last posted. Off to make dinner now, and it will be omelettes because I forgot to defrost the salmon. Mmmm. Not one of my more dynamic days.

I'm out all day tomorrow, doing my Christmas present 'Knitting Socks with four needles' course - I'm really looking forward to it!! And a whole day off cooking and childcare!!

    Have a good weekend everyone.

Haven't had chance to pop in since HHC, oops sowwie, got distracted working out what stupid amounts of gas and electric we have used. We're using on average (since the prices went up!!!!! on the 4th but only got the letter this week!!!) £3.40 a day electric and £4.30 a day gas, which is just flipping crackers!!! (done as average over 10 days) I know it's colder at the minute so hopefully the gas will go down a lot in the summer as it's like a greenhouse in here with all the glass. 5 years ago we used £6 electric and £5 gas a week at the most on pre pay meters for 3 bedroom house, it's just madness. Need to watch everything we're using, kids don't help leaving every room lit up like Blackpool when they walk out of it. Anyway, that's another rant over (sorry I know I am in a moaning mood but when I say to DP about it he just rolls his eyes)

    What I did
    DW emptied
    Kitchen tidied
    Kitchen wiped over
    Washer load in
Wiped front of washing machine (note to self that I usually put soda crystals and vinegar in different places because it fizzes back out of the washer and makes a right mess!)
    Packed up 2 parcels
    Found dinner alternatives
Opened boys room door, moved a few things off the floor and closed it again

Then now I need to unwrap one because I didn't know DP had left his memory card and batteries in the camera, what a berk! I said to make sure it was ready to go. Should I just go back to bed and call it a bad day/week/month?! :rotfl:At least I haddn't posted the thing. Well they do say 'things can only get better' and they are sooooo right. Managed to get 8% off the silly APR they want off DP, going to try a letter of complaint next, I don't like being beaten :D What doesn't kill us makes us stronger!!!!

Going to pop a weekend list up in a mo for those interested. my main mission this weekend will be the boys rooms because they are a pair of scruffs and will be helping me get it done, I don't care how much they moan!!!!! I can see this weekend being lots of tantrums as I will be cracking down on the electricity usage and the bedroom tidying, I think I've gone soft lately and they are getting too used to it. DP has gone to work, I am pleased as he was getting twitchy as it's nearly a week since he was last in (last Saturday) just hoping he manages ok. He was on about still going to York on Sunday so I, erm, lost my temper a little bit.
One day I might be more organised...........

Serena i got the same timedelay face tan stuff x2. I also got one of the Olay total effects night creams. It is £14.99 but with the £5 off and 500pts not bad. I have 2 more skincare vouchers to use - not sure what on as I don't like all the time delay stuff. I might get the 300pts regenerist coupon and combine that with one. My store is a little one, but very good at taking coupons - I split mine into 4 shops today and got loads of points and skincare coupons.

Kids playing darts and DS3 going to have a turn on here whilst I tidy up the ktichen.

embb WELL DONE to your DD, what a star, hope it goes well for her. Those terramundi's are usually expensive, I get the tin cans you have to cut open with a tin opener from the £ shop instead. I couldn't stomach spending £19 on a pot to smash it (cheapest I seen was £14.50 and £4.50 postage) I'd rather put £18 in my tin!!!

mummyto3, now you're making me look bad :o well done!!! All that plus extras!

Right, dinner for the boys is in, I am joining them in a 'junky' meal of fishfingers and wedges with beans for me and DS2, DS1 will have sweetcorn of course. I need comfy food with as little cooking as possible.....hope they can swallow it, looking at them both they both have huge tonsils now.... bananas and icecream for desert I think

Today I have managed 4 loads of washing and three TD loads. Weather has been atrocious, same everywhere I gather. Had trip out to Aldi and bought myself b'day present (in Tesco's) a three in on jacket as my old one is so tatty. It is a light blue so I won't be wearing it when taking dogs out or seeing to hens. Pressie is really from DH, he said he would have spent more on me, but I know how much money we have. I have also put dozens of books on Amazon for sale as I can't get my head around e bay. I have never sold anything on e bay at a profit.

Also bought a goose in Aldi for next Christmas, use by date is Jan 09.
