Afternoon all.
Been to town and had a nice time in boots collecting heaps of points and getting free products on the £5 skincare vouchers.
I've post most of the shopping away. Need to go and get changed to invigilate now and have a quick cuppa before I go. I have done zero flying and it well could stay like that!
See you all after school.
Lil_me hugs hun you are a real trouper.
Pollybear it is lovely that you miss you son even though it is hard on you. I hope you feel better once spring arrives - it is coming for sureThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I wish I could stop feeling miserable when I've got nothing to be miserable about. I suppose it's the time of year and the lack of any real daylight. Plus I'm a miserable cow.
want to be sisters? Miserable and Crabbit? :rotfl:
Oh, will you all hate me if I said my hair is almost perfect? If I blow dry it properly it sits all shiny and bouncy and straight! In fact I only straighten it if I didn't bother to dry it the night before. I have a fat belly though and get massive spots! The one on my chin is just starting to shrink!
Can someone kick me? Hard? I have done sod all.0 -
It's raining here too...
So far I have done the washing up, vacuumed downstairs, washed some wool jumpers, watched First Daughter (while on MSE) with DD, and had two cups of coffee. Oh, also filled in DD's travel form to take into surgery later.
Could do better.
Just about to take DS1 into school, and then dash and buy some bread and milk.
(((pollybear))) - treat yourself to a bunch of daffodils, spring is definitely on the way! I'd think about a daylight lamp as well, if you haven't already got one, it may help.
(((lil_me))), because you sound like you could do with them!
dustykitten - what did you treat yourself to in Boots?? I was helping DD's 16 year old friend try to find something with her skincare voucher, and it wasn't easy to find anything that was for younger skin. In the end she chose the gradual tan moisturiser from Time Delay. I just stock up on Time Delay every time there are vouchers. I can't remember the last time I paid fullprice for skincare!! I also got a laptop bag for OH yesterday - for just £5! Paid in points, as have run out of money until February...
lilo - are you in or near Faversham??
hugs, ,:coffee:, - please help yourselves to whatever is needed!!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
TIA - KICK!!!!!!
Get moving girl or i'll come up there and i'll...i'll.....:rotfl:

Pigpen - does your nail person draw the squiggles on freehand...she's really good.xx
She does indeedy.
I decided against taking the pushchair.. stupid me!!
Shop 1.. I went in for a battery.. and took 10 minutes to get Tiddles out of a WM
Shop 2.. I went to buy 2 cat collars and some rabbit food.. bought them a treat ball as well which they are killing at the moment! .. Took 10 minutes to get Tiddles away from the fish!
Shop 3.. (no I hadn't learned!) bought tiddles a biscuit for after her lunch.. and she took 15 minutes to get away from licking the glass cabinet and the crisps!!
THEN despite being told repeatedly.. she jumped in a huge puddle and is sopping wet.. and is now refusing to take off her wet things! DEFINITELY her father daughters this one!!
Monday.. she is going in the pushchair!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I seem to suffer the same mad hair probs as the rest of you - too much and permanently unruly - it even takes the hairdresser 30 mins to straighten my mop so I never bother - I can't do reverse in a mirror and my arm goes dead before I'm half way round - rather stick with a reddish hayrick. Hate having it cut too cause mom never let me til I was 15 and it was 4.5 foot long - used to take all day to dry and 3 ladies to get a swimming hat on me for PE.
I just do drinking.. LOTS.. I am the worlds worst dancer.
I make hubby straighten the back of mine....
4.5 foot long hair.. hhmmm.. I think your mother might have had a bit of a loopy streak.. how on earth did she expect you to do anything with that? Mine was probably about a foot shorter (about half way down my thighs).. and SO heavy. I would have taken the scissors to it myself I think!! lol Oh.. I did!!! ROFL! My sister did hers too. I keep my girls hair just to the bottom of the shoulder blades.. so it is managable .LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Oh.. !!!!!!... apparently I am to expect a call and/or visit from SS after some little slapper accused my sisters bf of sleeping with her (which was a blatant lie as he was with my sister at the time!!!!).. he was 19 and she was 15.. honestly!!! That will be interesting.. *best EEEVIL grin*
After my friends phonecall this morning that was all I needed!!
Best do the HHE.. Tiddles is poking my lard ROFL
ooooohhhhh..... my steamer has arrived.. I don't have to stirfry my salmon tonight now.. I can STEAM it.... [strike]Sweep bathroom floor and mop
Vacuum upstairs
Vacuum hall
Towel wash
Dust spare room
Clean window in spare room[/strike]
