Morning all,
Is it raining everywhere theis morning? Pouring here, I am so glad we are not in a flood region, hugs to any of you who are.
Feeling more tearful than I thought I would today as I was fine yesterday. I need to go to town soon as we need food and I have to go to the bank. Invigilating this afternoon so not planning to fly much. Going to try to finish the list upto Thursday today and then do the kids rooms over the weekend.
OH car has developed another fault so dread to think how much that will cost, fortunately he gets the train to work and walks to the station so it is not urgent more inconvenient. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Raining on and off here too, blinking horrible, I just want to be able to dry clothes outside!!!
Well I was supposed to be out by now collecting some money my sister owes my but for the 50th time this week she's messed me about, so going over at 10.30am ish instead. I need to go to the petshop when I am over there, few other things that way on aswell, still haven't managed to get Woody and Sonics food more locally. Vacuumed through before I even let myself switch this on or I'd have not done it before I went out.
Getting DP up in a mo, will strip the boys beds then, they did do a small amount of tidying up there yesterday so I can walk through the room.....more worried about safety when it comes to toys all over the floor. They have been told they will be helping tonight in there aswell.
DP needs to phone and shout at more people today, finding out his CC company have launched the interest up from 11.9% to 34.9% when he's just used it to pay something off as it was a lower interest rate, he's a little, annoyed! I know I shouldn't worry about it in a way as he has those cards and the responsibility of them, I don't know what he spends on them or pays off apart from when he gives cash to me to transfer it over, but puts him in a grumpy mood, aswell as the concern that he'll never manage to pay them off, interest being added is over £100 a month! One day I might be more organised...........

tomorrow going to the pictures in the evening with friends to see PS I Love You although someone at school warned me to take the tissues - has anyone here see it?
I havent seen the film, but i've read the book. Definately take tissues if its anything like the book:eek:
My mum gave it to me and i cried like a girl:rotfl:
Morning all, got LO bedclothes in the WM(pull ups are leaky!)
Just going to do a quick whizz round the living room and kitchen, do some ironing, including uniform for tonight.
Glad you enjoyed TGI's Torianut(not that im biased;) )
Maybe even clean the bathroom, depends whether hubby is going to do more work in it or notThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Phew a small relief when it comes to money, I did the accounts last night and was short even for the bills (hence why I am annoyed with my sister as I need to send the rent cheque off!), just had a letter saying we're owed £150 and will have it by....hmm well 30th of March, but a relief all the same as I know it is coming in.
RANT ALERT
Still waiting for DSs DLA decision coming back, he's just cost me for another new mattress and when he's going through one a month (got some great sheets, expensive however, but he keeps pulling them off, little monster doesn't like the feel of the bed with them onI tried fastening them on with some ties I had an he ended up tearing the sheet in half, can't win!!), plus the pj pants etc I could do with some help financially on that aswell as his support worker for activities costing me a fortune (Oh yes, Kaz, I've had her babysit before and she isn't a qualified person, just police checked but charges £7+ an hour! He can't do some of his activities without one as they don't have the staff to deal with him/help him). I phoned today, they said decision was made on 16th and has been sent but then today thinking it was the letter dropped through the letter box (and getting ready to appeal, you know when you get so used to having to it becomes an automatic reaction) it was just a letter saying 'sorry you haven't had a decision yet' dated 11th, so the decision probably won't arrive until next week. Bah why does everything take forever. I also hate that they won't tell you the decision on the phone.
RANT OVER
Ah that feels so much better. DP was woken but hasn't got up. Got 4 sets of sheets to wash off the boys beds, both wet through the night and needed changing then seems they have both done it again this morning as 2 big wet patches. Duvets and covers need to go in too. I think I am going to end up having to use the TD today, just isn't the space to get this all dry.
An extra thought, Kaz if the babysitter is more expensive than the childminder, wonder if the childminder would do the extras? Suppose when a childminder can charge less is when they are able to look after several children at once. Childminders near me charge IRO £5 an hour, when I wanted to return to work I was quoted £150 to have my son for 1.5 hours after school a night for 5 nights a week because they have 'special needs' hence I didn't take the job as I would be working to pay for their childcare, goodness knows what she'd have wanted when they were off school. By the time I'd paid the childcare and petrol I'd have been left with £4.60 (then there would have been the extra costs for maintaining the car for more miles etc)One day I might be more organised...........

Sounds like you are having a crappy day!
I have so much to do and don't know where to start or have the enthusiasm to start. Did the shopping and it's all sitting in the hall. Did go to the chemist and got some cream, lets just say that's a relief and I am never again using cheap bath bombs!
Borrowed a lovely dress of my mate last night to wear to this photo shoot, I get my hair and make up done so I should look good, I will tell them to feel free to get creative with the airbrush!
Spose if I make a list I can make a start.
Unpack shopping

Hoover
Wet wipe living room
SORT OUT THE WASHING!!!!
Change the kids beds

But first :coffee: as i left straight away this morning and haven't had one.
