Morning girls
Am still at home rather than at work - my virus is coming back with a vengeance - had about an hours sleep and my arms and legs were bright red, swollen and on fire but the antihistamines and cream wouldn't touch it - in the end ended up staying up rereading Harry Potter with bags of ice balanced on my thighs - not pleasant. Funny thing is that in myself I feel much better apart from the itchiness.
Dad should be having his maggots removed from his foot today to see if the little blighters have eaten the rotten flesh (apologies if anyone is eating) - you wouldn't believe the smell - they had to put him in a private room because of it - well that and the fact he caught the novovirus bug. Clean these hospitals aren't they
I'm still gonna try and do a HHE today, even if its just a walk out in the fresh air - I'm tired of being cooped up in the house.I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
slightly disappointed as the fitter has been to measure the room to do the wardrobes, and he can't fit us in till the week before i start mat leave, so we said he might as well come the 1st week i am off rather than DH use one of the 4 days off he has between now and bump arriving.
So - we will have to swap rooms to decorate the other room, then swap back while the wardrobes are fitted, and then swap back again. AAAAAH.
Why can nothing ever be easy.
Right, new plan, what else can just go so that i do not have to keep moving it from place to place.
1) candle garden set can go to charity shop as it is still in box, and i can't see us using it until kids are so old it isn't worth keeping
2) load of dresses i used to go out in while at uni can go on ebay - these are now 11 years old, mostly top shop - will these sell as vintage???
3) wedding dress to go on ebay - it is taking up so much room
best get that WM going then so it is all done.0 -
One more week for the weather to improve for Rach's wedding day. Hope you get some nice dry weather Rach. But it poured with rain the day I got married and that's over 35 years ago now so it's not necessarily a bad omen (as several people told us - why do people do that?)
Two loads of washing done and draped round. I've got a third load in the machine but no point in doing it today because I've run out of space to hang it up. Tomorrow will have to do.
Tidied up kitchen and washed up etc. Peeled spuds for tea. Put yesterday's washing away so I could hang up today's.
I'll probably remake DD's bed for her later (she stripped it before she went to work) but I'm letting it air for now.
Otherwise, just catching up on stuff we've taped from television during the week when I'm at work.
Hope you get your budget sorted out lil_me. I was doing that a week or so ago, but lots of things will be going up in April I expect (council tax, water rates and our house insurance is due in March) so I had to just guess at possible amounts for now. That didn't help cheer me up!0 -
Not got very far. Made panacakes so all have full happy tummies.
OH taken DS3 swimming and the other 2 are playing darts.
Going to start my turbo listings now - thanks for the heads up about 1/2 price day. I might put a couple of bits on now and then save the rest for Thursday. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

That means that you've spent your last ever Saturday morning as a Miss! Are you getting married down South or 'home'? Just so I can keep an eye on the weather when I think of you being nervous next Saturday noon! To be honest, when I think of every wedding I've been to I never remember if it was raining or sunny or not.
Living room tidy as it's going to be. I need a few big things cleaning, 2 rugs and sofa covers but Ineed to think about how best to tackle the rugs. Had a quick walk out to redeliver a letter that was for a house round the corner. My house name, her street, surname of my Landlord was the same as hers, no post code. No wonder the boiler engineer hasn't been paid yet daft lad!
Had quite a nice e-mail from Mr Messy, not had any contact since last Saturday. I think we'll meet up in the week - I need to give him his stuff back too- just glad things might be civil at least.
Dusty, I really really fancy pancakes now! I'm so suggestible.One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400
