Morning all!
Got a much better night's sleep last night and didn't wake up until gone 10:30! Bit of a problem as I'm going out for lunch today with one of my bridesmaids and a bunch of other people I was at school with (I grew up in Belfast but a lot of my friends now live in the South East). Still got to get dressed and pop out to get a few bits and pieces for a poorly OH.
Better get a move on!0 -
Morning all
Happy Birthday Lillibet:beer:
Good luck to all those trying to give up smoking and HUGS to those who are not well or who have got Januaryitis.
Got quite abit of sorting out and three loads of washing done yesterday evening. Am now tackling OH filing, it's a complete nightmare:eek: .
Got up at 08.20, OH is on an early. So far have ironed, emptied the cupboard under the stairs that was full of old magazines OH had filed:mad: . Can now fit hoover and carpet cleaner in there:D . Taking DS out in a minute after I've helped him with his homework to local play area.
Dinner is roast beef, yorkshire puds, roasties and veg. Not sure on pudding yet, will look through cupboard, might do pear and banana crumble. Need to think about lunchboxes for next week and write a cleaning and studying rota as this worked quite well last week.
Have a good day all :A xxxxx0 -
Morning :hello: :hello:
Lillibet - :bdaycake: Have a lovely day
Donny gal - where are you for 24? Im off to spain in a week and hoping its somewhere near to you
Pen Pen - hope you are going to get to go somewhere exotic with your family doing all this jet setting.
wannasavemoney - a week old loaf eh - mmm could be a bit hard:rotfl:
Queenie - :j :j :j Hiya
DLB - Good luck with stopping smoking. I stopped 3 years ago and I wont say it was easy but if you are determined to make it happen it will be the best thing you have ever done. I hope your relatives will be understanding and go outside - they have to do everywhere else now so I cant see why they cant in your house. get lots of food in though you will be hungry:eek:
Mrs rmac - good so see you back posting:T
Working today (well inbetween reading this anyway:o ) then its down to Cardiff again later today  - feels like only 5 mins since I came home.
Had a lovely night last night went for an Indian meal with a friend whos birthday is while I am away so we celebrated early:beer: managed to bring a "doggy bag" with enough for another 2 meals for me so not a bad deal in the end. Shame I cant take it with me and use the hotel kitchens microwave - would save having to stomach the awful room service this week:mad:
Oh and keep your fingers crossed please because the kitchen fitter is supposed to be coming back today for the final time to fit the cupboard they "accidently" left off plan. Its been nearly 4 months now getting this sorted and I cant have it tiled until this final bit is done so with any luck (and it is luck with this fitter) I may have it finished in the next couple of weeks. Its been such a pain tbh - even the floor vinyl I had laid has to be taken up now after they put different pieces in the through kitchen and utility and you can tell:mad: Anyway rant over - after yesterdays news about Skint 1 I think my moans are irrelevant.
Anyway have a great sunday all
Hugs Nels xxxx0 -

Hello, just having a quick scoot round on here before I go and make a start on the piles of laundry to be put away and get the ironing sorted out for later.
Got to go shopping for something for tea and more milk and bread, oh and a paper for OH. I don't mind paying £2 for a sunday times, as he does make it last all week.
Kitchen looks like a bomb site again and both the bathrooms need a good scrub. Think i might try 15 minutes at each task and see how I do.
Happy Birthday Lillibet and Heather (yesterday)
Hugs to all ailing ones and those who are suffering from OH's with 'Man Flu'
