Morning all,
Woke before 8 this morning but stayed fidgeting in bed determined to catch up on some sleep. I was unsuccessful so I'm up and plugged into slice the pie instead while my OH sleeps soundly. I don't know how he does it!
It's been pretty wet and miserable here all weekend and I don't know how it's Sunday already as I don't think I've done anything.
We've got the Asda shop this week and we're really having to eek things out till payday now. Such a long month!
Oh well, think I can hear him stirring so will go and get my day started!
Have a good day all. (((HUGS)))!Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Morning All
Happy Birthday Lillibet, have a great day.
I was supposed to have watched my nephews play football yesterday but the match was called off due to the waterlogged pitch. Pen Pen, a goal difference of more than 100 :j
Not much to report here, just chugging along. OS wise, we need to pick up a chest of drawers that we won last week on ebay. We have decided that we need to decorate our bedroom, and we saw a chest of drawers that matched our existing bedroom furniture, as it was a fair price we thought we'd treat ourselves!
I have decided to hand in my notice at work this coming week so I will be able to concentrate even more fully on being OS :T I am looking forward to growing some veggies this year, so I will be looking at the gardening thread later on today.
Not much else planned for today, apart from watching Lark Rise to Candleford tonight on BBC1, this is one of my favourite books.
Take care all & have a good Sunday.

Morning all
I did quite well with clearing the study & bedroom out, I'm sure I'll get it finished today.
I'll do a roast for later, not sure what as I have ham, turkey & beef all cooked & sliced in the freezer.Hubby will be glued to the TV today, with darts & snooker on, still as long as I keep him topped up with tea he'll be no trouble.
I'm still loading up Tubolister & hope to get that finished today.
I'll do an online shop too as I'm out of museli & have a £10 voucher to be used by next week, I wonder if they'll deliver just 50 bags of museli, lol.
Have a stupendous Sunday

morning all,
has a nice lie in this morning, just having a cuppa, got pork chops roasties and veg for tea, had ordered a freerange chook but all out of stock which is great news.
Went shopping yesterday, got my eyes tested, and even with the cheapest glasses I could find I had to pay £90  , its terrible the cost of them, and I have to have them.
I also bought a beautiful jumper from monsoon in the sale was £75 got it for £20. Also treated myself to two new bras in M + S At £14 each, so had a heavy spending day, will be good for a while now
DD is off out with her dad today, and has a dance rehersal at school this afternoon, so OH and I will go out walking, it looks like rain, but will try and go anyway.
Happy birthday Lillibet
Tiredmum, have not read the rest of yesterdays thread did you get your dog ?
Such terrible news about the man who died in the arms how terrible for his family xx0 -
I was debating whether to take the duvet to the laundrette or buy a new one, but cat no 3 made the decision for me. He got stuck in the bedroom after I got up, dug up half the carpet and did something indescribable (poo, grass, blood?) on the duvet which I promptly sat in when I went to dry my hair. Duvet chucked out as it's too old to be worth salvaging - off to Argos to get a new one.0
