Morning all - up earlier than I expected due to MrS's snoring which scuppered any chance of a lie in. Did some shopping and I must admit that after the chicken programs on Channel 4 last night I did have to make some decisions - I wound up buying organic milk and butter for the first time. Luckily I don't tend to buy things that have egg in it, other than eggs! Home now, breakfasted, washing machine on and soup souping ready for lunch.
Will probably spend most of the weekend in a grump as, combined with lack of sleep, MrS is poorly and needs looking after, in addition to all the usual chores. I don't just want a day off from chores, I want someone to do them for me so I can have a day off in the knowledge that I won't have a backlog when I get my act together again!
Sorry for the grumble...0 -
morning all,
Just had eggs and bacon for late breakfast, am going to chichester today to get my eyes tested, will have a look around the shops, need to get a new yorkshire pudding tin, I think I have lost the non stick on mine, and that may be why they come out like cricket balls :rotfl: :rotfl:
DD and friend are upstairs getting ready, takes them ages, going their hair and makeup  .Will drop friend off on the way home from town.
Got stir fry and left over steak tonight, ordered a free range chicken (as I always do) from sainsbugs and they were out of stock, which must be due to the programmes that have been on this week, and which is a good thing, so need to pick one up today for lunch tomorrow.
Pen Pen, sorry to hear about your job, what a terrible shame xx
Mrs Mix good luck with the forms xx
shez enjoy being 'posh' for the day xx
Have good days all xx0 -

Well i fell asleep on the sofa last night. OH thought he would leave me as i 'looked comfy' So i woke at 5 am cold and my neck is sooo sore !! I am currently sat here with a wheatie bag heated around my neckI have alot to do too. On the upside OH felt sorry for me so has gone to pick up my silicone bakeware set and 2 x duvet covers off the grabbit board
Now i just have to put tonights stew into the slow cooker and empty the dishwasher. Not much of anything else planned for today... The sun is shining but its very cold. Might see what i can do paperwork wise then i can sit infront of the firefurrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:

Good morning everyone.
Happy Birthday Heather38!!! :bdaycake:
Only been up an hour-reading through the thread!!! Didn't sleep too well again last night, and I woke at 4 unable to breathe properly, used inhalers and went to sleep-eventually. Was looking forward to a lay in and no alarms going off...was rudely awakened at 6 by an alrm DD1 had forgotten to switch hers off and showed no signs of waking up to do it so i had to get up to sort that out!!! Then she got up and kept coming in to disturb me!!!!! GGrrr
OH brought me a cup of tea in bed though. Before I got up he has tidied kitchen and sorted & switched on dw out and swept kitchen floor ready to mop. DD2 has emptied dw and started filling it again.
So Nothing eventful today as yet. (((hugs))) to all who need them or want them.
PenPen-sorry about the redundancy
Hope all who are travelling today stay safe.
Hope all who are ill get well soon and all who are well stay well.
Better let my OH have the pc -not often he uses it.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Your guess is as good as mine!!
DS asked him whats for tea, reply came, I dont know
DS asked, when's tea, reply came in a bit
DS asked again, to which the reply came, shut up asking!
I tried to talk to ex about this, but as usual, he ignore my text & didnt answer his phone, my next thing would be to call his mum! But I hate getting her involved, cos she can be just as nasty!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Morning
Happy birthday Heather38 diamond earrings and a meal out eh - sounds like a great day:bdaycake:
Haribo - can i come for tea - i love gammon
Havent been posting for a few days - work is getting in the way of my fantasy life of leisure again:D
Didnt get back from Cardiff last night until after 10pm absolutely shattered - got into the house and the power had tripped so the heating hadnt been on for 2 days:eek: it was absolutely bitter. I went straight to bed but the room and the duvet stayed cold all night so didnt get much sleep - wish I had an electic blanket:D or a warm OH :rotfl: (still with all this talk of snoring and man flu I think the electic blanket is a better option) ((maybe an electic OH would work then I could turn him off:D ))
Am working today and some of tomorrow then its off back down to cardiff again tomorrow evening   I do love my job but the travel and broken sundays can really start to get me down.
Back to hotel living again - last week I had a lovely suite with a separate bedroom and lounge which was so much better than just having to sit in my bedroom in the evening:T unfortunately it was a one off as they were quiet so it will be back to a normal room tomorrow:o My room service rant of the week is a good one - a cheddar cheese and pickle sandwich (on two bits of white sliced bread) a plate of hollow dried out chips and a glass of red wine - grand total £18.00:eek:  dont know how they have the cheek - and the cheese sandwich was the cheapest thing on the menu. Wish Martin would start a campaign on hotel food its just ridiculous.
So today I have my workbooks for next week to design and print, the washing to unpack wash and pack againmy Vat and tax return to do and a lot of paperwork to sort - fun day for me then.
Anyway i may not post everyday but when i do I cant half waffle:rotfl:
Hugs to all and hope you are warmer than me

Good morning!
It's a beautiful day here in London, yes Shez, even south of the river:cool:
I'll put some washing on the line, as there's a chance it could come in drier than it went out (does that make sense:o )
BM is on. ( When will I get bored of saying that:rotfl: )
anniebooklover, lovely to see you post, but I know what you mean about time slipping away;)
PenPen, everything crossed that something comes up re funding and your hours. You know if I had my way there'd be twice as many CABs with twice the employees and publicly funded, but my curse is I'm sensible not in authority!!!!!
mrs mix ((((((hugs)))))) and no overdoing it today! That's an order:D
Heather38 Happy Birthday:beer: Enjoy your day, it's obviously begun well:D ( apart from DD's nocturnal activities;) )
I have great plans for HW today, once I've done a little bit more knitting:rotfl:
Enjoy your days!

Morning All
Pen-Pen - Sorry to hear about the redundancy
Reformed - Hope it went ok at the dentist.
Heather38 -Many Happy Returns of the day
So far this morning have had a lovely relaxed start to the day, do have a load in the wm and soup cooking.
Main aim for today is washing and ironing, anything else that gets done is a bonus. Need to pop out to the farm shop later to stock up on fruit and veg - its only open 4 days a week now and generally is busy.
Chicken and chips tonight for dinner, and a whole chicken defrosting for tomorrow.
DS just returned from footie training completely covered in mud so best be off. Have a great day.x0
