Hello All, :hello:

Weigh in day today gave another loss, just 1lb this week though, still, 9lbs in 3 weeks is pretty darn good even if I say so myself  Under the next stone mark now :D :j:j:j I'd like to lose another 6lb by the end of the month. Planning to get weighed in on Tuesday next week, cos I'm away Wednesday to Saturday, and I'm not expecting a great weight loss the week I come back, although I'm staying with my mum and she's back at SW again so except for the B&B and meal out for Valentines, it should be a reasonable food week.

Not much else from me today, I was working last night and I'm still tired. Hope everyones well!

Hi everyone.

Ive been working the past few days so havent managed to post. Will catch up with all your posts tomorrow. Looks like there is a few more newbies. I can hear my bed calling lol
• Well done to all todays losers! & Hi to all Newbies.

Hugs to you Frogga, well done for hopping back on the bandwagon.

Had a bad day myself today. Started off fine with my usual muesli for brecky & had put a tomato, parsley & veg soup to thaw for lunch, then OH rung on his lunch to try & resolve the argument from last night. This was interupted by him having to go sort sumit out & I headed straight for the creme eggs. Didnt enjoy them at all & just felt even worse that I had scoffed them.

So I've picked myself up from that lil trip, dusted myself down & back on track.
Had lightly battered fish & salad for dinner, followed by a fruit smoothie as I was on a sweetness craving.
Snacked on raisins & homemade root-veg crisps.

Hi folks,

Not been around the last day or so as I have been feeling pretty rotten...only self pity but gone now I hope.

Congratulations to all of you who continue to lose weight...didn't weigh last week so Friday looms....sat on one of my favourite chairs the other night to have dinner and the b%%ody thing collapsed under me...was not amused I can tell you....getting the no more nails to the chair to get my own back...probably shouldn't as I suppose it is a genuine antique ( over 100 years old ?!) but it will embarrass me no more!

Frogga...glad to see your later posts...my pm was based on first one....

Night all

• Nice to see a happy frog today. ;)

Marie - Hope you didn't get too many bruises. I've broken a few chairs in my times too, not all my own either. :o

The most embarrassing was in the garden when DS1 & 2 had their mates round. The back legs just cracked loudly and I was on my back with my legs still hanging over the chair in the air.
My two horrors were creasing up laughing  but one particular friend (lovely polite boy) looked so concerned and was instantly over to see if he could help me up. I was in tears of laughter (or embarrassment  ) as I could see he didn't quite know where to grab me. Took three of them in the end to get me on my feet. :o

Some of the things I've gone through because of my weight have been excruciatingly embarrassing over the years but, with a sense of humour applied, bloomin' funny once over, too. :D

Stacie- good to see the weights still coming off :T and Taplady- good to see the weights not going back on. :D

Food today:
Weetabix
Boiled egg with HM seedy bread
Beef cobbler with cauli and carrots

Going to make a batch of MRSC's ham, cheese & potato pasties  and got some reduced meat yesterday so will make some moussaka and shepherd's pie for the freezer.

The cornation chicken salad wrap was lovely yesterday but not very authentic. The recipes were all saying use a red wine, apricots, etc. . Didn't have any of that so...... spoon of hellmans, large pinch of curry powder mixed with my shredded chicken. Then popped salad on tortilla, chicken mix on top and a tsp of mango chutney and dusting of pepper. Then rolled.
It was really lovely. :D I'm having that again and so quick to make.
DS1 had tuna/mayo and DS2 blackcurrant jam.

Going to finish my cup of tea and have a little surf inbetween cleaning the kitchen. 15 mins on, 15 mins off. ;)

All the best for the weigh ins today.

Morning Gang...don't know what happened yesterday:confused: Took Pup out & everything & was still wide awake at midnight doing sudoku:eek:

Hi Boo....& any other newbies I've missed.....as Frogga would say "Hop aboard.... there's plenty of room":D MrsM is the resident food meister, & I'm sure she'll be able to help you sort out your foodie diaries....one of the favs is home made soup. Could you perhaps take some in a flask if you don't have the necessaries to heat it at work? Failing that, try putting a bit of salad stuff with yer cheese now & again.....

Actually:think: two of the offspring love egg sarnies...but how can you avoid that awful pong when you open your packed lunchvomit-smiley-30.gif They don't do mayo in any shape or form; it's just mashed down with a bit of low-fat [STRIKE]plaster[/STRIKE] spread & pepper. As for the tuna, we only mix it with a bit of vinegar & black pepper too.

A bit of a coup for me during last night's culinary cook-up.....we had cauli, brocli, leek, peas & sweetcorn, with a luvverlee cheese sauce spooned over the top SIZE=1]ok...so they came home before I could bung it in the oven.....wudya gunna do abowtit? bring it awn....oooooooh yeeeahhappy-smiley-870.gif

I know just what you mean Frogga, & these past couple of days I'm passed caring if the depression is causing me to keep my weight, or the weight is contributing to my depression.....either way:confused: I'm fat & I'm fed-up, but more so with how other folk persieve[sp!] my life to be.....I don't sit on my bahoonie stuffing cream cakes & fry-ups; I am trying to lose weight sensibly; I don't need their 'helpful' suggestions to 'eat less & exercise more' cuz it ain't that flamin' easy to do---however many times or however loud they say it.

On the tv this morning, some very clever person has said that even identical twins, given exactly the same food & exercise, will put on weight at entirely different rates. Ooooh nooow........reelly......well I nevva......who wudda thunk? Loosely translated as
"No shhhhh Sherlock!"

Now I've committed my ramblings to the thread, I bid you a good day & happy temptation resisting....Adieu!

Not a good day for me at all!!

I feel that this diet isnt helping at all, today my jeans felt just as tight if not that bit tighter than they normaly do, I wish they were loose on my again. I just hope its all water ect as I know my visiter is due any day now.......I'm out on the toon on saturday watch it come then lol.

I'm almost ready to go back to my "old ways" but I know this idnt doing me or anyone else any favours. After all fasting for 2-3 days at a time doesnt, does it?

b - nothing

l - maybe just salad

t - pea and ham soup

no snacks, just water or tea.

I am going to try and do a working out today, but wih having to do housework and my daughter at my ankles which ever way i turn makes house work harder and longer to do..... I really cant leave the house work much long.

Anyway going to stop moaning now you all have problems of your own. xxx
