    :DMorning All,

Well, it's February and I'm turning over a new leaf ~ no more "rambling off the points" from me and no more "throwing my toys out of the pram!" :D I can just see MrsM RIGHT NOW rolling her eyes thinking " I KNEW she'd be back!":rotfl:I'll say no more about it other than I know why Gingham deleted some of my posts ~ they were SO witty that she's keeping them and going to publish them as her own work  But, it's OK cause I'm onto her! ;)

We all NEED each other on here, and I'm not going to abandon the sinking ship ~ I want to be on the GMTV sofa with you all at Christmas for our "Reveal" ;)

I have the day off today and I'm going to go MAD cleaning everywhere, new start and all that ;) Tadpole 2 already has his sheets in the wash and I shall be a real fly lady as I know it will help with my eating if the house is clean ~ does that make sense? Clean house / clean mind kind of thing.

Today I'm starting a "be good for the whole of February" Challenge. It's only one month............................. I'll have a treat on the last day and see how well I can do in the first 28. It's exactly 4 weeks so feels like a good date to get myself together. I am exactly 19 st this morning so aiming for it to say 17 something by the end of the month. Anyone else hopping on board the February Challenge?

  • Hello Frogga, good for you and good luck :)

I won't be posting again here, sorry. Thanks for the kind words from some of you, they are appreciated. I'm not throwing my toys out of my pram, I am not a " flouncer " and I certainly do not need any drama/attention just in case anyone had that in their mind. I am just one tired, fed up middle aged woman, battling to lose weight and eat properly as well as dealing with everything else the universe throws at her, just like most of you. But I don't see the reasons given, which are not unreasonable within themselves, for the posts being deleted being applied consistently across this board or even this thread, frankly. And I have no intention of winding myself up further over an internet forum, it literally made me sick to my stomach earlier this week and I don't intend to repeat that.

I will be reading the thread and I will try to help people via PM when I can.

You're all wonderful people, keep going ! :)

    Morning one and all :D

1.5lbs gone this morning:j ....taking me to 4st 5.5lbs..need another 1.5lb next week to hit the velantines challenge..fingers crossed...

Frogga - i will then join your be good for feb one... and aim to make it to my 5st target by the end :D
Don't know what you mean about me thinking " i knew you would be back;) " glad you are though my little green friend :j ..saves me PMing you to within an inch of your life :rotfl:

Sorry you aren't going to post Kitty  -but i respect your decision and the reasoning behind it... but i will be keeping in touch ;) and feel free to pm me anytime. Sounds like life is testing you at the moment.... hope everything settles down for you soon...

Badger lady... how big is this treacle tart? could you portion it and freeze them so you can have a bit now and then?... you might enjoy it more than eating it all at once..seems a shame to go without something you love so much -unless its going to "trigger" your taste for them of course

Alibow.. thats what i do... highlight everyones name... because i know i have a tendancy to ramble (i know, i know -none of you had noticed :rotfl: ) -so i figured if i highlighted the names -if anyone doesn't want to trawl through my waffle they could just look for the bits aimed at them ;) ... although i know that you all love to read every last word of my twaddle :rotfl:
good luck with the interview by the way :D

Meanmarie- hope you are feeling better today :D

    Well for me today :-
    • brekkie will be a yoghurt in a moment
    • lunch Hm bread -toasted with beans -been fancying this all week
    • dinner HM pork n herb sausages with potatoes n onion done in the oven and veggies
I will get off in a moment as i have another batch of sausages to make and need to seperate the others for freezing...make a loaf of bread and get some cleaning done:p

Oh whilst i think about it...i made that "cheesecake" i posted the recipe for last night :p ....

I used bottled cherries... tried a piece last night and its not bad -although im funny with textures and consistencies -so others might prefer it... i wouldn't say its cheesecake but its not bad at all and really quick to make... if i do it again though im going to put the fruit in the bottom of ramekins and pour the mix on so you can eat it out of the dish ;)
Fot me it was sort of a cross between egg custard/creme caramel and bread n butter pud in texture :rotfl: figure that out if you can...
The things i do in the name of research for you guys on here ;) :rotfl:

right folks have a great day.. fingers crossed for those weighing in today..and keep at it folks -we are getting there:D

Im back -just realised i need to lose 0.5lb to hit the valentine target not 1.5lbs -- woohooo
    -6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.5

    Grocery Challenge. £400. - £35.22 + £19.80 + £109.01 = £164.03
    Other spends (Clothes Luxuries etc)£11.97 + £1.19 + £7.36 + £69.00 + £38.50 + £5.50 + £23.00 +£2.00 = £158.52:shocked::sad:
  • I'll jump in and join you with your Feb challenge, Frogga. I managed MrsM's and it really helped so I was looking for another. ;)

The clean house thingy makes perfect sense to me. If the place is upsidedown then I'm down.... bothers me not the men folk in my house  but those that do the flylady bitty will know what I mean about the smile a shining sink can bring first thing in the morning. Feels GREAT! :D

Yesterday went completely wrong for me. Felt horrible with this cold so my menu went out the window and this is what I ate:

    Readybrek
    HM Seedy bread tomato sandwich
Turkey & mango chutney salad sarnie. (I ate the supreme turkey  am bad)
    1 1/2 lrg carrots (raw)
    2 satsumas
2 cocktail sausage rolls (nicked from kids :o )
Orange fool dessert (OH's treat to me)

Can't believe I ate the meat for our dinner. The cat and I shared it. :o I was completely out of sorts and worrying about opening my first bank account since I got married 20 years ago. (app today).
BUT.. tis over, feel bad about eating their turkey but they weren't bothered. At least my splurge was pretty healthy eating.

Anyways, it's FEBRUARY.... nearly spring and I can start this new Feb challenge. I will be good. :D

Furrypig - Well done on yet another lose. You're doing really well. :T

MrsMc - hope the weigh in pleases you today. I have to say, without seeming sappy, you've really encouraged me. Its gonna be a long road for me with having so much to lose but your progress, daily words and help with recipes are really keeping me going. Thanks. ;)

UPDATE : our posts crossed, Well done MrsM :T

Morning everyone - well done on the weight loss MrsM and furrypig, big YAYS for the weekend to everyone.
Good-ish day yesterday - ate ok but no exercise and with the weather as it is I can't see that changing over the weekend.
    B = porridge
L = homemade turkey and veg soup
    S = carrots and apples
D = keema curry, rice and poppadums! With maybe a bottle of beer! Went to make this yesterday evening and DS13 decided he wanted to help me make it and ended up doing everything - he was so proud, he kept sayign ohhhh look at the lovely colour of that - until I made him put peas in it at which point he declared it ruined :D Anyway it's not the most healthy of dinners but I have been veryyyyyyyyy good this week, kinda, almost :p and it is Friday and frankly woman can not live by porridge alone

Really wish I had measured myself before I started this because even though the scales say I have lost 9lb I can't feel it at all.

Have a good one weight watching chuuuums, here's hoping the weekend treaty eaty goblins don't bite ya xx

    Morning all.
    Frogga's back then ;):D

Wasn't well yesterday - felt sick all day so only ate a yoghurt and a biscuit then in the evening had two slices of toast. Lunch time went to get a big sainsbugs shop and got drenched, had to park up the road from work coz all the spaces were taken and got even more drenched. We're talking only my nickers were dry  Squelched round all the rest of the day and had a very bad day in total (and the goings on of this thread didn't help my mood).

Don't feel sick today but have a cracking headache. Didn't eat breakfast in case I feel sick again - but have had a syrup waffle biscuit :o So not sure I can join the be good for Feb challenge :o

Lunch is - nothing as yet as I didn't fancy anything - but will prob go out and get something later on.

Tea is sausage casserole in the slow cooker.

Will go for a walk at lunch time just to get out - since it's dry and quite bright here.

The weekend will be a challenge - have biscuits in for friends coming for coffee, a 70's party in the evening (so there will be wine), and no doubt there will be left over biscuits from Saturday to avoid ;)
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
