Hi Newlywed,
Hate to tell you this but there is a thief about  Some more of me posts av been knicked  and yours Kitty ................................................
Yup. I noticed. and I'm sick of it. I had an extremely sh*tty day yesterday, supposed to be my day off ( my ONE day off a week ) but had to spend almost the whole day + evening trawling through loads of paperwork for an audit/monitoring meeting today for weekday job because of management stuff ups and unreasonableness, I only had time to post my tea bread recipe and one quick funny comment or so I thought. I was furious when I saw the latter had been chopped, considering the load of useless toss that is talked by the ton on this site and on far more " serious " threads than this which go off topic unchecked. I don't think I'll bother attempting to be either helpful or welcoming/funny in future. So much for camaraderie eh ?
right now the last thing I need is pettiness on an internet site to add to the rl rubbish. so, lets make this RELEVANT shall we, oh yes, hmm well ok, guess what, stress makes you pee'd off, pee'd off leads to eating junk, eating junk leads to putting on weight, spending money you don't need and feeling ill ! who'da thunk it eh.
Good luck folks, and cheerio." Baggy, and a bit loose at the seams.. "~ November 8th 2008. Now totally DEBT FREE !~0 -

It isn't the TALKING that makes us fat.. it is the EATING!! Have you not heard the old saying..

Nipped to supermarket before dinner.... for the 2nd time to day i had that "hmmmm i fancy "something" head on -problem being i didn't know what the "something" was..so i came away with nothing "extra" :j .... where as normally i would have come out with half a dozen things that it "might have been":p .... and then proceeded to eat my way through them just to check
and then i realised the problem..i was actually hungry..proper hungry  .... as soon as i had my dinner i was fine... prawn salad with potatoes steamed in their skins yumyum
Hope Taplady reports in soon -hopefuly having hit her target weigh..fingers crossed folks
Im off for my usual walk in the morning... spotted today that a lot of the fresh meat was sell by the 31st...which should mean some bargains in the morning-how sad am i that i am now actually stalking the "whoopsies" :rotfl: well im doing OS and MSing so every cent counts
Iamstacie -:T on the loss and on hitting the valentines target..way to goand thankyou for the recipe..will copy that down and put it in my box index file of recipes
Glad the "wobble" passed Nix..sorry i didn't put my 2pence worth in -but you got loads of good advice from everyone else anyway
The talk about there being less weight problems years ago -really struck a bell with me...
I now walk pretty much everywhere... i haven't taken my BFG driving liecence on purpose so i can't drive over here...and i am loving the walking anyway..and i do a lot more cleaning..thinks like going over the carpets with a scrubbing brush weekly etc..beats the gym any day -far more rewarding too :T and as we know im still eating good old fashioned foods, pastry, HM bread n butter etc.....
anyway enough waffle from me for now..
hope everyone is well...keep at it folks...oh and hello to anyone not mentioned-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Evening all
had a good day today - pretty much stuck to my menu plan from yesterday which helps keep me focussed and also saves money by making me use up some of the stuff in my freezer etc.
Tomorrow the plan is
Breakfast: fruit and fibre
snack: peanut butter and chocolate cookies
lunch: cheese sandwich, fruit
dinner: spinach and ricotta cannelloni with a slice of garlic bread
Still cant exercise with my ankle being sore and it was even painful walking on it today. Will try and get some muscle cream in town tomorrow and see if that helps.
Good luck all0 -
I've just made my first mistake - went to the cinema with a friend, popped into a bar for a quick drinky... barmaid asked me what I wanted, I panicked and had half a John Smiths! Ah, my downfall...
But I did jog there (about 1.5 miles) instead of getting a taxi, does that help?Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

Hi there Alibambino...
The bread doesn't have to be a problem.... i make my own too and regularly have a slice or 2 with cream cheese on for supper (don't need butter that way)..in fact i am just brushing off the crumbs from tonights 2 slices....yumyum;) ...
mind my bread has no fat or milk in it...but its bl**dy scrummy if i say so myself :rotfl:
Badger-lady.... 1/2 pt of beer...quite restrained i think..just think of the pic n mix..the popcorn etc you could have had.... so i reckon thats quite good going

This thread has been viewed thousands of times by countless people looking for help to lose weight the old style way. PLEASE try to understand that when we move or delete posts it is because we are trying to HELP - not just you and not just the people who are posting, but the people who are reading too.
This is NOT the daily thread and we are TRYING to keep it on the topic it was set up for. If the posts aren't about weight loss in any way we're trying to remove them to keep the thread flowing to make it easier for people to find help. This seemed to be the best way to keep as many people happy as possible but it is IMPOSSIBLE to please all the people all the time and please accept that sometimes it will be your post that disappears after a while if it is breaking the flow of the thread.
Please note that if this becomes another argument, the thread is likely to be closed or moved to the arms, so PLEASE for all the old stylers who are trying to lose weight, can we keep this thread on topic?May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
Morning All,
Anyone else got de ja vu?
As I think I am one of the (if not THE) main culprets of going off topic I think I should keep a low profile from now onIt's a real shame and I really think there will be no point in going over old ground ( it will only get deleted anyway:rotfl: ) but I think the BG's have missed a trick here.
When this was bought up before there wasn't a SINGLE post in support of what the BG's said. Yes, the thread is viewed FAR more than posted on , but loads of lurkers posted to say why that is.
I'm still here if anyone wants to PM me , but I do not want to be the one responsible for the thread being locked. I think it's the "banter" and one liners that help people the most, certanly the welcomes and sillyness is what people come on here for and keep comming on here.
Good luck to the rest of you that feel you can stick it out :A I'm affraid I can't keep worrying about the "waffle police" anymore. Having just popped accross to other stalwart threads I can see that they waffle and go off topic just as much. What a shame this thread is the only one being targeted
Have a good day all,

well where can i start, i am a very shy person, even in rl..i love hearing what everyone has got up to, and i deffinatly think that this thread needs to be light hearted other wise no one will want to come...what happens when you go to weight watchers or the like....you chat to your friend you are not expected to keep your chat to only weight related conversation....why should everyone be penalized just because a couple of people arnt happy, as i have said i love this thread even though i dont post, it keeps me motivated and i have found that in last couple of weeks it has lost its sparkle....Mam of 5 now
