Morning all, didn't sleep too well last night after chiro visit. Uncomfortable whichever way I turned

So breakfast was toast with choc spread (please tell me it's made of nasty stuff so I'll stop eating it????) Erm and a cherry flapjack from the shop when I got off the bus :o

Lunch is pasta from the freezer and tea is stirfry veg with prawns ;)

Snacks are apple and malt loaf.

As for food, I've never nicked stuff but me and my sister did buy a very large bar of choc one evening and scoffed it all in about 5 minutes flat, before the lads arrived at the pub. :o

Often buy food, scoff it and then hide the wrappers :o

Prior to starting this latest diet I was hiding my eating by doing it in the car - I'd stuff myself with sausage rolls and pasties everytime I drove past a Greggs, and then dust the crumbs off my coat and just not tell anyone. I have a serious weakness for pastry and pies as opposed to choclit and sweet things. Mad, huh?

The week's going good so far - last night I finally put the Dirty Dancing Exercise DVD on - 10 minutes into it I was sat with a brew and a fag and eyebrows raised THIS high - I'm not known for my co-ordination and falling over my own feet got boring really quickly! So spent the rest of the evening playing Wii Sports - highly recommended, you work up a sweat and your heart starts pumping but its fun at the same time. Until your 13 year old son comes in and whups you without moving any other muscles than his hand :p

And then this morning my car needed to go to the garage - so dropped it there and then walked to work - half an hours walk first thing int he morning - I can't remember how many years its been since I did that - the glow of virtue around my head right now is stunning LOL.

    So B = porridge
L = HM turkey and veg soup
    D = jacket potato

And then me and the Wii are getting busy again :rotfl:

Have a great day everyone xx

    :hello: Hello ladies!

    Welcome newbies
Not too bad last night, OH decided to bake  and I had a 'crusty end' from the new loaf (no butter) and a wafer thin slice of cherry and almond loaf.

I've had porridge with raisins for brekkie but I think the rest of the day might be a food disaster - we have a buffet lunch at work which will be butties and bhajis (I'll try to avoid the cake) Then tonight I've got my new dance class straight from work    REALLY looking forward to it    but I wont get home until 7 and there was not a lot left in the freezer so I will probably have to have egg on toast..................too much bread today methinks:eek:

Taplady - I'll help your OH finish the puds :D and a haircut is at least a pound off:D

Frogga - I love eccles cakes but DD calls them 'fly pies' it didn't put me off though!

    See you later folks :A

    Morning all,

Tummy not very settled this morning...I deserve that after yesterday!

Frogga...did I make up something about you???

Taplady...I have been known to cut finger and toe nails before a weigh in! Good luck tonight.

Had some muesli and water this morning, just having a coffee now, reckon that will either kill or cure me.

Have a turkey leg out of freezer for dinner to-day, not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, soup on and bread proving.

Hoping to stay with soup for lunch and fruit for snacks

    Have a good day all

Morning all helloooo to the newbies

Heck...its like confessional on here isn't it :rotfl:

hmmmm -well i have to say i have never "rescued" food from the bin .... I can't even stand to see when tots drop things in the house and pick it up and eat it  -now i know that it won't harm them but it goes through me  ...never shoplifted ....
I have been guilty of the eating and hiding wrappers.... but i think thats about it....

Just got back from another "walkies" :p 1 1/2 hrs done :T and sat here feeling tickity boo..even though it was that horrid drizzle stuff going on

Forgot my brekkie again this morning -but at least i remembered to have a drink before i went out....

dinner is prawn salad with steamed potatoes..and lunch -well im not sure -but no doubt it will be -crispbreads n cream cheese, yoghurt, apple -or some permiatation of those :rotfl: !

Picked up the meat for making the sausages tomorrow.... im doing all pork this time...(half pork n herb and half pork n tomato)...€4.85 -about £3.70 and it will make 4lb of sausages :T.

I love hot x buns...and you can't put me off -(no, not listening  )... mind my fave biccies are "dead fly biccies" :D . A couple of years back i made some hot xs using a recipe from the good food mag..and OMG they were stunnning... mum made a batch and threw 6 in the bin  as she couldn't stop eating them!!!! May have to make a batch of them for the freezer 1 day soon..... i like them and tea cakes but can't have them toasted -or with butter on..bleughhhh not on scones either..butter on cake ..WHY? athough i can be swayed by jam n cream :o

Newlywed.. don't listen to them about your choc spread ;) im sure if we thought about most foods and what was lurkin we wouldn't eat it.... mind i guess thats we are doing it OS... at least we know what we have put in there - our OHs don't though :p

ViksB.. I have digital scales and you still get the variations... mine have to stand on one specific tile so i get a true reading every week.
My mum even used to go on boots scales before weighing in at WW as it used to drive her mad that her scales would say she had lost a lb one week and the WW ones would say she had put on...the following week hers would say she had lost lb again and the WW ones would say she had stayed the same... so i think they all have the same problem,,,

Taplady...treacle sponge mmmmm with oodles of nice cold thick cream  -Good luck with your weigh in tonight..fingers crossed.... i can't imagine what it will feel like to actually get to my target weight  -mind i have to decide what it is first  ...im aiming for 10st ish and then we see how i have to go from there.... not something i have to worry about JUST yet mind :rotfl:

Caterina -you weren't to know you would get a leader who sounds as much use as a chocolate teapot.... Its awful that she showed so little support.. i would have been prone to contact head office about her..... I know the WW class my mum has just left had got a new leader and there have been loads of complaints about her and she has been warned...
Still you have us now:p -sorry...didn't mean to scare you :D ... I know its not easy, but try and post -especially when you are having a bad time of it.. we may be able to help..or at least distract you and make you realise you aren't the only one ;)

Well i really should get off..need to phone mum and have a gossip... make a new loaf of bread... made one yesterday and there is only enough for hubbies soup tomorrow... i had 2 pieces with cream cheese n herbs on for supper yumyumyum.. and hubby demolished the rest :rotfl: -mind i don't exactly cut delicate ladylike slices ;) ....

this weekend im planning on having a bash at making piklets mmmmmm lets see how many of those make it to the freezer :p

well folks..have a great day and i will catch up with you all later :D

Thanks everyone for making me feel so welcome!

Right, are there any rules I should know about or do we just do what's best for us and share tips etc?

Have started well with porridge for breakfast and have some spicy sweet potato soup in fridge for lunch. Am going to do Turkey casserole, rice and veg for dinner. TBH I eat pretty well at mealtimes usually already so this is no change for me. My problem is that the snacks in between run together to form one long constant meal running from around 4pm to bedtime! And none of the snacks are even remotely healthy:eek:

I have got some natural popcorn in the cupboard - does anyone know how to make it low fat/fat free in the microwave without it tasting like stale cardboard! Maybe cinnamon/garlic or something? (NOT both together though - even I have limits!!!)

Am going to make myself go for a walk in a minute and do some sit ups and stuff later (should be doing them anyway as I have a bad back!)

    Too Late :D
I didn't have seconds though, I was quite restrained!! 2 halves of a sub roll, one with salad, one with sliced egg and a few crisps, a small piece of jammy shortbread type stuff and I've got a small piece(and it IS small) of cake to sustain me through my dance class!!:D

It wasn't the usual caterers so no bahjis or pizza today :(
