    hi all

Hello to all the newbies and good luck with your losses.

Had a reasonable day today foodwise. had toast for brekkie, macaroni cheese and chips (lunch out today) and then had some toast for tea as too full up from lunch to have much else.

Tomorrow I am going to have
    breakfast: toast
    snack: satsuma
lunch: carrot and corriander soup and small roll
    dinner: chicken curry and rice
    snack: cereal bar

I find that writing what I will have the next day makes me more focussed and then I know I have to come on here later in the day and confess;)

Exercise has gone to pot as I seemed to have strained a muscle so will need for that to heal before I can carry on which I am really annoyed about.

    Good luck all

  • Oh yum.... lemon drizzle cake. Quick Taplady.. tell me the WI's spit in that too when they make it...like really hock it up like they did on Titanic.

So that's how they make them is it, Frogga.. well that's a load off; won't want one of those now at 171 cals or not. ;)

Hi Queenpig, Cat and all other newbies. Judging by your post Queenp, I reckon you've found just the right place. Can certainly identify with your words. :)

MrsMc - if the sausages are a hit with the family I'm going to save my 'rewards' for a sausage maker. DS1 will buy me just about anything rather than clear that outhouse. :D

Finally my 'fess up' - (Those with weak stomachs look away)
I took Morrisons hot chicken thigh back out of the bin and ate them. I reasoned they were in a foil lined bag and I had been too hasty chucking them away in one of my 'I disgust myself' moments'. :o:o Ate one before squirting washing up liquid in the bag to stop myself a second time. Still had a look 10 mins later to see if it had gone on every one.

Think it all started at the age of 6 when my mum forbid me to eat bubblegum so I looked for secondhand on the pavement. See, banning food doesn't work. :D

Thanks cheerfulness for sending me smiling to bed!

Welcome the_cat...you will get used to Frogga after a while....she's our resident criminal...every thread should have one and boy, have we scored with ours!

Have eaten so much to-day that I can't remember half of it, so I won't bore you all with just some of the details...I'm a bad girl and when dgs2 asked for pancakes for supper...I ran to make them, is that anyway for a 62yearold grandmother to behave??

No doubt I will be back to-morrow with wonderfully healthy plans for my menu...if I would stick to them it would be great!

    Sleep well all

    Hi all

I haven't forgotten this forum, but just gone overboard with eating, not paid any attention to dieting at all, might go weigh tomorrow (still got a couple of the wretched SW vouchers - why did I go and waste my money?).

See you all soon again, hopefully!

    Morning All,

Sending BIG HUGS to Meanmarie and Caterina :grouphug: ( even though you called me a criminal Gran! What a cheek!)

Got throught the whole day with out eating ANY CCE's OR Hot x buns. I've heard that the saltanas in the buns are dead flies and spiders swept off the window sills in the factory. That's how come Sainsbugs are selling them BOGOF. Bad aint it?

Right, now gonna have me porrige for brekky, got me sarnie ready for lunch and now gonna get some chilli out of the freezer so that tea is ready quickish when I get home :D

Hope you all have a good day, it's raining here and the forcast is bad for the end of the week. I like the snow but it's a pain when the pond freezes , plays havoc with the PC

Ooooooooooooo I nearly forgot, had my shopping delivered from Mr T last night, it was Brill :j It was like Christmas all over again , not knowing what was in the bags, not having to lug the trolly round the shop, hump it all home et.c Still have to pay for it though  Shame, that's spoilt it really. Have spent £103 of the £150 budget for Feb so now only have £47 left. The freezer and cupboards are FULL so that will only be for fresh fruit and veg and milk. Easy Peasy ~ and none spare for Sweets Frogga! :o

    Hi All,
I have been using my bathroom scales to monitor my weight, but yesterday I was several hundred miles away at my mum's but decided to step on her bathroom scales and see if I was on track.
There was 9lbs difference between my mum's scales and mine. (Mine being the higher amount!!) I know it doesn't really make any difference which weight I was as long as I always used the same scales, but I was just wondering if anyone knew how accurate your scales were. I am thinking of popping into Boots one day and trying theirs (or maybe the doctors as theirs are free! (more OS!))to see if ours or my mums are closer to the mark. Might have to buy some new ones. I do fancy some digital ones.
