    Hello Ladies :hello:
I'm kn*ckered after our hike! and we didn't go as far as we'd planned due to the path being flooded and OH wearing his 'comfy' boots rather than waterproof one's like wot I had on :rotfl: We still managed about 3 hours walking though.

I'd had porridge with apricots and raisins for brekkie, a cereal bar before we set off. Lunch was a pasta salad and a banana. I was a bit naughty when I got in and had 2 slices of HM bread and butter!!
For tea I made veggie haggis with dry roasted spuds and mashed carrots and parsnips. It was nice - not as tasty as the McSweens bought one but I was amazed by the quantity  The recipe said serves 4 but I made individual ones the same size as the bought ones and got 7 :D We had one each and that was plenty so I'll freeze the rest.
Didn't want any pud but might have a yoghurt later and I think I'll treat myself to a glass of wine tonight :T

Kittyscarlet - the semi-naked fireman now that's an idea I LIKE :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Mrs M - wots this 'social life' you talk about?? Is it something we should have??:D

BMF - I'd happily stay the same weight if I could lose some inches!! :D

Everyone else - enjoy what's left of the weekend :A

    PS Where's the Frog ??????

Gosh it's quiet around here these days ladies!?!
Some of you are doing soo well, congratulations! It's really good to see. It's a boost for those of us not doing so great, to see the gang is still there. Welcome to all the newbies.
Weighed in this morning, lost another 2lb. I'm pleased with that, it's going at a steady loss for me. But wouldn't it be exciting to step on the scales and get a 3lb reading! A girl can dream.
I have weight watchers scales - they weren't cheap - but to be honest move them a couple of inches across the floor and you'll get a different reading each time. I pick the exact same spot on the floor to place them, but I do doubt their accuracy sometimes! As long as over time, the weight is generally going down, I'm trying not to get stuck on numbers.
Hope you all have a fabulous week.
    love

    Morning All,

I'm fine and dandy this chilly morn :D Had a long weekend with Mr Frog home for the two days, always find it a bit difficult posting when we are all together as it looks like I like you lot more than spending time with the family ( I'm saying nothing ;) )

Have successfully managed to put on 1/2 st since Christmas so really started to panic this last week.

I think the more I think MUST DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS , the more pressure I put on myself , and then I fail, want to slit my throat, and comfort eat!

I know some of you keep talking about the "non-diet " approach, and "healthy choices " but that has not sunk in. I am listening but it doesn't seem to go in. Until today ;) So, I am NOT on a diet, if I want it, I'll have it. Today if I want some chocolate I can get some, but I'll try to choose not to.

In the past , even when I have been successful and lost stones, I have completely gone without. Gone for months sometimes without choccy or sweets or indeed anything "naughty". Then , I GO MAD FOR IT :D and completely stuff! I once put on 2 1/2 stone in a month , that's not easy you know, it took dedication! :D

So , having weighed myself this morning and topped the scales at 19st , I shall see how I get on this week and weigh again on Friday and see if the non diet approach works.

Right that's enough Rambling for the Frog, Hello to all my special friends, welcome to those that don't know me yet, hope you all have a good week and I'll check in later :D

That's exactly how I've been feeling!!
Sounds like a good approach to me, someone once said to me if you want it have it but wait 20mins and see if you still want it so even though I'm trying to get back on the SW plan I'm going to adopt that approach to cravings.

Lost the plot last night and raided the bread bin again, difference was I didn't have any butter just marmalade....low fat diet?????:rotfl: :rotfl:

Had porridge for brekkie, brought HM soup and a roll for lunch and I've got lots of fruit with me.

Teas will be HM lentil burgers with sweet potato chips and a green veg of some sort with yoghurt and fruit for pud.

    See you later girls :A

Another 1lb down this week, makes a total of 8lb since January, slightly slower than what i would like but i can't complain it could be going up.

Breakfast- 1 boiled egg with wholemeal toast
Lunch- Tortilla wrap with tomato puree and a sprinkle of cheese (toasted)
    Dinner- Omelette with salad
    Snacks- Fruit

  • And there was me thinking that you had pc problems, Frogga, instead having a nice cosy weekend with OH. :)

Hopefully the next approach will work for you. I've tried every which way over the years but this is certainly the easiest for me. Early days tho so I can't afford to get smug.

I do that '20 min' routine that rockies suggested, although I find that freezing the food curbs me a bit more, (frozen food doesn't look so appealing and some is truly awful if you just defrost without crisping.
My mood swings would be momentary, but I could down 2 days cals allowance in that 15 mins blitz. :o

Didn't get any of my baking done as planned and busy with DS2's school work this morning so will snatch a few mins to plan the menu this week.

    Today:
    Readybrek
Grilled herby tomatoes on HM seedy bread

Will have to think about tea. Not sure till I check the freezer.

DS1 treated me to some 'wax tarts' for losing my 2nd 7lb (that outhouse will never get cleared) and he laughed when I picked some off the good fairy site. If you don't know.... they are all in the shape of food with authentic smells. Went for the biscuit mix and the bakery mix. They were so cute.

Do you think I'm into self sabbotage?? :D

Well done to all the losers. :T :T :T

    Morning all.

Went to a surprise party as friends are moving away - managed to easily resist the cold pizza and sausage rolls - yuck. But erm... gave in to the lemon meringue and erm ... chocolate cheesecake :o

Sunday erm... found a packet of biscuits and erm... they've gone. Well I was so sick of washing up (no d/w tablets left) and only glad stardrops works so well.

So anyways - have stayed the same this week - bit of a shock ;)

Have been paid this week so will go shopping and get D/w tablets - and maybe something to eat for dinner tonight too :p

Breakfast was porridge and cocoa :o
Lunch is HM chicken and lentil soup that smells lovely - lots more in fridge for this week too. (As well as a couple of portions of pasta for lunch in the freezer - was busy this weekend - hence sick of washing up).
Tea will be - maybe gammon steak or omelet depending on what I fancy later when wandering aimlessly round Tesco ;)
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?

    Hey Gang!

I'm not ready to give up just yet, but it is a little diheartening to not see any movement in the needle...spose could say it gives me the needle:doh: But just imagine how much worse if I'd paid someone to tell me thet at a slimming club:eek: Nope---it's definately lbs I want to lose, not £££s!

I'm hitting an upper-class area of charity shops today, to see if I can grab some stuff for the offspring re:presents-wise. I found a Timberland, Quicksilver & Ben Sherman for under a fiver each at crimbo:rolleyes: & seeing as most of the time their clothes are hung up on the floor, I don't see in paying full price:confused: Plus designer gear is just ridiculously expensive--I'm not so sure I'd splash out even if I had the money--so it works out really well for me! I can take bottles of water with me too, cuz I know where all the loos are

Perhaps I should change species too; I'd be like our pet cuz she's a green iguana:D And after all,:rolleyes2 I'm saving the Planet by recycling & supporting Fair Trade cuz they don't have to make a new garment just for us!Puffs up chest & stands with hands on hips.....

Ooooh....didn't realise I was sooooo virtuous
