'Morning everyone
Welcome sazzies - this is a great thread for picking up tips.
Yesterday was OK, although I had a longstanding engagement at McDs with my DD which didn't help.
B: Porridge (oats/sk milk/water) with cinnamon/honey/raisins - thanks for that tip, it's delicious :T
L: Chicken wrap, friesSpag bol
Snacks: banana, 5 shortcake biscuits, apple, 1 Lindor
Drinks: smoothie x 1, water x 3, decaf tea/sk milk x 4, thick Strawberry milkshake
Exercise: Walking around town shops for 2 hours with DD
Triumphs: not having tea and a bun at shops, measuring oil and pasta, bulking out beef with carrots and lentils; trying to make more of a sensible choice at McDs and having a small portion; didn't have Parmesan on my spag bol. :T
OS tips:
1 tsp olive oil is enough to saute 1 onion and two carrots
Used 2 carrots and 2 handfuls green lentils (boiled before putting in with bolognaise) meant that much less minced beef needed to be used, and there didn't seem to be any compromise on flavour.
Measuring out the spaghetti is a bit of a learning curve, because it doesn't look much
Have a good day today everyone.

I am actually back where I started when I joined up here now.. but my jeans are STILL too tight.. I have no ambition of managing a smaller size.. just making this size more comfortable would be good! When we moved in here 2 years ago I went down to 9.5 stone and STILL was wearing the size 16.. and my nanna when she was 80 and weighed 5.5stone STILL wore a size 16.. I think we just have WIIIIIDE bottoms!! lolHo Hum

I have 2 sugars in my tea.. and I drink in excess of 15 cups EVERY day.. another reason I can't do WW lol.. my daily allowance would be used up in tea drinking!
This week is the first week I've actually done any exercise and I've lost 3lb. I also think my body was a bit slow on the uptake.. meaning it took 3 weeks before it actually realised it was meant to be getting less rather than more!
I am trying to encourage myself to slip in a few fruit teas.. I have come cranberry and raspberry in the cupboard which need using up..
Next week you may lose more to compensate for this weeks staying still!
((hugs))
Lunch.. I managed 2 slices of toast and microwaved mushrooms.. *slurp* yummy!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
well done pigpen on the 3lb loss!:T you sound like a traditional pear shape - like me! I will never be a size 10 because my hips are just too wide - no matter how thin I get! never mind, us pear shapes are more healthy than the apple shaped women apparently! as its more healthy to have the fat on your hips than around your internal organs!;)Do what you love :happyhear0

thank you.. hubby and I were laughing about these 'body shapes' the other day.. have you SEEN some of the name Trinny and Susannah use.. (I got my new catalogue! lol) When we went out on Friday night he kept saying.. Apple.. lollipop.. apple.. apple.. it is like a greengrocers in here, full of apples and pears!.. apple.. PUMPKIN!!.. Goblin.. (we know it is goblet but she did look like a goblin!)
I have a 31inch back measurement (so they always want me to wear 32in bras.. not good with an E cup, so I get the 34DD which is WAY more comfortable) 26in waist and 38 in hips!!.. well .. that was too much info.. sorry..
I used to be a size 10.. until I had DD3.. I actually wore 'ordinary' clothes until I was about 6 months pregnant.. then gained 5 stone and kept 3 ever since.. the one good thing was I then only gained about 10lb with the next 2 pregnancies lol she just stretched my pelvis beyond repair I thinkLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Afternoon all,
Have 6 for dinner to-day...not used to those numbers any more! We are having bacon and roast chicken with cabbage, celery and potatoes...was going to roast some of them but at present there are 5 people socialising in my kitchen so I got out so just plain ordinary steamed spuds it will be. Don't do puddings any more, there is cake and biscuits, icecream and fruit should anyone feel the need...if I bake I just eat it myself!
Have eaten to-day: glass apple juice, 3 slice blt, small smoothie
Have a good day all
