Morning ladies :hello:
Ive lost a pound :j Really suprised as I expected to stay the same, it must be the exercise :j
Last night's trip to GS's birthday was a disaster (foodwise)
Everyone was there when I got there......including my ex hubby  and my current OH:eek: ........interesting!!!
DD had laid on a buffet but I'm the only veggie so not a lot for me. I had a piece of french bread and then an onion bahjee but it had an awful taste, it was really greasy and horrible. I had a small piece of birthday cake but couldn't get rid of the fat taste, really I should have cleaned my teeth when I got home but instead I ate 2HM muffins with cheese, a bag of crisps and a LARGE glass of wine
This morning I've had 2 boiled eggs with 2 slices of HM bread and butter (OH made brekkie this morning  )
Just about to have some HM soup before trotting off to the allotment - bit of exercise there!
Tonight's tea will be the veggie sausage we didn't have last night, I might do SW chips with them and beans.
Taplady and Saversarn - :grouphug: the good side to it is the enforced rest!
Welcome all the newbies:wave:
Well done to the losers :T
Hope everyone has a great day, enjoy the sunshine :A0 -
:grouphug: to bigmumma xx
Hi all,
Hope you're are coping with weekend temptations. After a little overindulgence yesterday (hm pizza, a bag of crisps, creme egg and some lemon meringue pie) i got up this morning and had a glass of hot water and lemon. I then did all the exercises from my rebecca wheatley dvd :A and had a bowl of porridge.
I've made twinks' hobnobs, they are cooling on the side atm....will have 1 or 2 with my usual salad for lunch. yum!
Going out for the afternoon with some relatives (an aunt, cousin, my sister and her boyfriend) so am just about to jump in the shower and tidy the house.
Its all go today! :rotfl:
ps mrsmcawber - the thought of the yoke makes me squeamish - plus i think it has all the fat (although might be making that up!)
Speak later :jBack and ready to save some money!0 -
Bigmummaf, thinking of you.
Taplady & Saversarn, I've been told that I'll prob need the same op too. Mine's not for abnormal cells, mine's because of a prolapsed womb since the birth of my 2 9lb'ers.
Well done to everyone who's lost, I didn't get time to post yesterday as I was out most of the day.
Had my weigh-in yesterday, I've lost 1.5lbs; pleased with that as it was my TOTM and I was eating more. That's 9.5lbs in total so far.
Food today......
Breakfast: 1 healthy living hot cross bun & large tea.
Lunch: 2 slices of toast with spread & a mug of soup.
Dinner: H/m lasagne, spicy wedges & salad (can't wait).
Looking forward to tonight, vino, pkt crisps & some chocolate raisins. Saturday is definitely my favourite day of the week. Yum Yum!!!

MRSMCAWBER - Thanks, I didn't realise the last few posts that showed when you replied went quite so far! Your right, they are small bags and I doubt that if I put them all together that they would equal one big bag such as Kettle Chips!
BigMummaF -Sorry to hear that. x
Going to a Noodle bar tonight for a meal, looking forward to that yum yum!
Today is so lovely, it makes me really happy when it is like this! Plus Villa just won, woo!Student MoneySaving Club member 017!0 -
Hi All.
Thanks Mrs M and Cheerfulness for your words of support re weight gain. Hopefully, I shall see a bigger loss next week. I think I shall have to be resigned to just 1lb a week though and not the great amounts some of you seem to get. Still even at 1lb a week I have time to lose all my excess weight before DS's wedding in November.
Had a busy day today. We went new sofa hunting this morning and think we found something suitable. We also bought a new combination microwave oven with grill. We were quite pleased with ourselves as no one in the shop spoke English and the one we wanted was the last one in there. We managed to sort out establishing that, plus getting the box and instruction booklet and no extra guaranteee etc. Then, when we got it home we found the glass plate didn't fit. Try explaining that in Spanish!! Anyhow, we seem to have managed and there is (if we understood right) a new glass plate on order. I hope it arrives soon as I was looking forwards to doing some proper cooking and baking in it.
Food today.
B: Muesli, raisins, skimmed milk. Pineapple juice.
L: 2 crackers and cheese, tomatoes.
T: Probably jacket potatoes stuffed with bacon and onion mash.
Snack: Just about to have 2 rows of Lidl's milk chocolate as a reward for all the rushing around and sorting out.
Have a good weekend all. It's cold and windy here so we won't be going far.

Hi everyone,
Boo - good luck for diet start on monday, i've only been going less than a week so I know how you feel. Go for it!
Mrs. M - I bought 'Slim at Home' magazine after you saying how good it was. Its fantastic! So much info! Will definately be getting it in future.
Didn't post yesterday as too tired. Fridays food was:
B. - 2 x poached egss on white unbuttered toast
L. - bowl HM veg soup
D. bowl HM veg soup, 2 large slices spinach tart
Snacks/treats - 1 small glass wine, 2 pieces chocolate.
Todays food is/will be the following:
B. - 2 x poached egss on white unbuttered toast
L. - 2 x salad and chicken pittas, 1 orange, 1 apple
D. - veg stir fry.
Snacks/treats - fruit. Will allow myself a glass of wine later.
Also went for a brisk 40 minute walk so overall pretty good.
Even better, mum thought my hips looked slightly trimmer, not loads but slightly on the slimmer side. Thats definately given me a boost!!
Am still feeling really good, am enjoying fruit and veg and my cravings are minimal. I know it won't all be a walk in the park but at present time I am pretty happy. Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -

BigmummaF - Sorry for your loss,:grouphug:
We are all here for when you are ready to return.
Gave up on the rugby (Scotland were NOT goo at all!), so am now in the throes of making fish cakes. Have already cooked the fish (coley), boiled the tatties and browned the HM breadcrumbs. So now to flake the fish and make the sauce...parsley to chop too.
Have done a bit of gardening this morning..not too much as my back is still sore. I did persuade DH and DS1 to cut back the ivy-overgrown hawthorn that is growing into one of our sheds! The roof is rather damaged, so that is the next project. I was cutting back the rasps and buddlejia, must get the shredder out tomorrow.
So food today:
B: Special K, soya milk, banana + OJ
S: 1 small piece of HM flapjack!
L: HM soup, HM bread & cheese + satsuma
S:?
T: coley fishcakes, tatties & veg. SF jelly with mandarin oranges
OH, OH,OH...I forgot to say I lost a pound last week! :jSo that's 5 pounds, with only a week to go to lose the last two pounds...hopefully I can make it!
Have a good weekend folks.
