Hi Everyone.
Just got up from my night shift and I always feel a little disorientated. I dont like to sleep too long or wont sleep tonight.
Very foggy here this morning then it really brightened up. Im glad the lighter nights are coming now. I do quite a bit of walking but will do more in the Spring/Summer. About 20 mins walk to mums home/daughters/ vol job. In the winter evenings daughter makes me get the bus home as its not safe walking through her estate. Yet before this winter I used to do it. Isnt it funny how as you get older your daughter turns into your mother. IE Ring me when you get in. Anyway enough waffle.
Last night I did have some chocolate cake at work as it the birthday of one of the clients. Today:
B The usual porridge.
L Roast Pork with vegetables and two Yorkshires.
Snack Grapes
T Just had 2 Ryvitas with Laughing Cow cheese and a cuppa.0 -
A bit scared to come on today, have eaten loads and loads of junk food in the last 2 days (obscene amounts) and its my weigh in day tomorrow and i know that i will be exactly the same as when i started.
This is my problem. Im great the week that im at work, and then on my week off im so relieved not to be there that all i eat is rubbish in the evenings.
I just keep sabotaging myself.
Feel really unhappy that i keep doing it to myself. I know that i have to accept that we all have blips, and to move on from them. I find it so difficult to do that, i just use a blip as an excuse to eat more.
Am going to have to take up a hobby so i can distract myself in the evenings.... maybe knitting or cross stitching again.
Think it must be my hormonal TOTM as i cant keep a hold of myself...full of rage one second, tons of love the next. My poor husband!
Sorry to vent, just had to get it out of my system so i can start tomorrow afresh. (have to go and wash hands now...covered in creme egg fondant)
Hope everyone else is doing better! xxBack and ready to save some money!0 -
evening folks
Cheerfulness4-
You didn't have us lot behind you on the other occasions you lost weight, and yes i have been like you.... my weight has been up n down like a wh*res draws
.... this time i am doing slow n steady... i can cope with the drip, drip, drip way of losing...
Plus if we do it this way-hopefully it will give us time for our minds to adjust
Is your worry because you are getting to the point where you normally start putting some back on? If so..don't panic... you have us mad lot to keep you going... and you can do this..
I think my "strange" moment will come when i get to 13st... i once got to about 13.5st many moons ago...so to get below that will be a little strange to me...but i will cope :rotfl:
I also know what you mean about the food... some days i seem to be constantly opening the fridge and peering in.... its nothing major im after just lots of bits n bobs  , a yog, an apple, an orange..just pick pick pick... one of the reasons i no longer keep choc, crisps etc in.. i actually fancied a bag of crisps earlier with my sandwich -cream cheese n beetroot (yum).. but we have non in, and the feeling passed in seconds :T
PigPen -you aren't a fraudI know folks who are a stone over their ideal weight and they are as desperate about it as i was about the 10-ish stone i had to shift ......although i have a few stones you are welcome to if it will make you feel less like a fraud :rotfl:
fingers crossed for you for the morning chloebelle
Rosewood - i can cope with scales much better than the tape measure... size 8  i swear i was born bigger than that -thats my excuse and im sticking to it :rotfl:
Bobby - hope the night shift is nice n quiet for you
Don't need any shoping in the morning but i have decided to walk the long way to the bank so i still get a good walk...
When we went for our walk this morning hubby was quite shocked at how fast i shift :rotfl: he is usually at work when i go.. so today was an eye opener..and i was talking at the same time ---in full sentences, not gasped words:T ..
well i will get off again..keep at it folks...and cheerfulness -don't be worrying..you will do it
woohoo mrsdoyle -you popped in whilst i was typing - don't beat yourself up -1 day isn't going to do much damage..and us ladies are slaves to our hormones...just write it off, its done and you can't do anything about it..and tomorrow is a whole new day to start a fresh!! Just don't be to hard on yourself..we have all had years or decades of adopting our eating habbits -we can't expect to banish them all straight away... but one by one we will get the blighters.. . hugs if you need one

Hi everyone, well, im making my way through the posts (ive started on part 1 to get as much tips as possible).
Im going to start making my porridge again, cos, Ive not had it in years and I love it. I cant believe so many people have porridge with sweet things in it. My ideal bowl of porridge is made with water, then a little milk to cook it down and with some salt mmmmmmm (homer simpson style:D ).
Since I last posted, I havent been very good. Even this morning, I havent been very good. However, tonight I had a baked potato with cheese and bacon, and half a plate of veg, and a large glass of water. I am very full, and feel very satisfied, and I feel good.
Just hope the feeling lasts, doesnt take very much for me to get down im afraid and fall off the wagon. So, if I ever need to some help getting picked back up, is it okay if I come on here?

Evening jackie_W
Just noticed your post -and No replies yet  we can't have that :rotfl:
Porridge with salt ..eughhhh I only have 1/2 a tsp of sugar, or some sultanas -but i don't think i will be trying the salt...even though my mum has it that way.
You can't fall off the wagon -we are all tied on by lengths of elastic..so we twang back on :rotfl:
Come on here as often as you want -there is always someone lurking aroundim amazed that no-one has posted in the last couple of hours... obviously some folks have more exciting lives than me :rotfl:
Even if its just to distract yourself..or let off steam -we are always here...
feel free to PM me anytime if you need a chat and no-one is around...
Hope you get loads of help and encouragement on here.... and keep on posting -especially when you are having a hard time -we may be able help -even if i just bore you into a trance ...im sure it has been known -just ask frogga-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
