MRS DOYLE I think a hobby would be a good idea - keep those hands busy and out of the biscuit tin. You cant knit with creme egg fondant on your hands now can you.;)

MRS M do you by any chance know roughly how many points are in one of Twinks hobnobs? I made 40ish and have eaten a couple so i only ate veg for my dinner to make up for it - it was worth it as they were delish!!

OK time to post what i have eaten today. I was busy cooking up a storm so its not very much.
    B - cup of tea
    L - cup of tea
    D - sweetcorn and cauliflower
SNACKS - a couple of hobnobx AKA Twinks
    marble sponge cake

Weigh in day is TOMORROW:eek:

    B - banana / muller probiotic drink thingy/ apple/ fatsuma
    L- 4 snackajacks:rolleyes:
D gammon cheesy swede 2 tiny roasties carrots and broc, pear & blackberry crumble and custard:o 2 glasses wine:eek:

Felt like lots but looking at it, it does not seem to bad.... does it?
Lovely long walk in the sun 90 mins:D

Hope everyone had a good weekend, mine was rather indulgent with scampi and chips on the beach yesterday, and lots of naughty things in london on saturday but I console myself in having walked about 3 miles yesterday and going up 434 steps in St Pauls catherdral on saturday!

I have to admit my money problems are worrying me and so im not sleeping too well right now. I cant think of any ways to save money-being healthy is more expensive than eating crap and my food bills have gone up I believe.

Ive just decided that there will be lots of bootfairs this summer, I will try to find ways of selling my homemade cards and I will get rid of my guitar ive been trying to sell for about a year. Its the best I can do to make the extra cash.

As for food im starting the "diet" this week. Today is as follows:
    b - muesli, skimmed milk
    l - 1/2 cheese sandwich, smoothie, yoghurt
d - omelette or pasta with roasted veg, bacon and a little cheese

snacks - 2 squares dark choc and 2 hm oat biscuits

    Morning everyone!

Frogga - I hope you have a lovely half term at home with the tadpoles!;)

Work again for me (11 hours:eek: ) plus a meal out tonight as part of it - its really difficult trying to find healthy veggie stuff in a pub:mad: might stick to a jacket spud or something as I'm trying to be good again!;)
I have been invited out to the WI tomorrow for my cake fix:D but I wont deprive myself of everything - will just do some extra exercise if I can fit it in my busy schedule!
So far I have had 2 shredded wheats with raisins and banana.
Lunch at work is beans on toast but I think I'll have egg for a change(I've eaten so many beans I'll start to look like one)
As I've said dinner is a meal out so not sure.
I've just remembered I've got a mango and kiwi fruit to eat up so will chop it up and take it to work as a snack.

Have a lovely day all x
    Do what you love :happyhear

    Morning ladies n gents :D

Just had a walk to the bank to deposit my share of hubbies winnings in -like nice even numbers -so i hijacked €15 from my shopping budget in my purse so i could deposit a nice round €100 :j -im becoming obsessed - i know that if i leave it in my purse it will drip, drip, drip away :naughty: , anyway -didn't NEED any shopping but as its soooo lovely out there i went to "REAL" anyway -soooo glad i did - they had just whoopsed corn fed free range chickens to €3  about £2.25...so i nabbed all 3  whilst wondering how i was gonna wedge them in the freezer :p ...... and by removing, ice cubes and a pot of hubbies soup, and a bit of a shove i have managed to get 2 in the kitchen freezer (no way would they have gone in the chest one in the basement:o )- and so the 3rd one will be roast for dinner tonight, salad tomorrow, leftovers frozen and the carcass into soup for hubby :j ...so thats another 1hr exercise done -8 days in a row folks :A :rotfl:

    MHE

Twinks hobnobs worked out like this:-

    8oz flour - 11
    8oz sugar - 13
    8oz oats - 13
8oz marge -41 -but if you use polyunsaturated 33
1tbsp syrup - 1 -i thought it would be more
and the other bits are free

so a whole batch comes to either 79ww points or 71 ww points so basically 2pts each -which i don't think is bad at all :D and deffinitely no reason to miss your dinner next time :j -just veg all day and a say a max 2pts for milk for your tea all day -you could have eaten 8 biccies -you are on 18 points i think :p not that im advising that obviously :rotfl:

Frogga -have a greqat day out with the tadpoles, its a pain in the bum when your messages won't post isn't it - still im sure you will make up for it later ;)

Boo81 - eating healthier doesn't have to work out more expensive.. if its not too rude of me, if you give us some idea of what you would like to be spending on food, i will make it my mission to try and come up with some ideas ;) ... it must be difficult for you, with working such long hours, and only having yourself to feed -makes it more difficult to take advantage of larger packs of some things.... but i have several books on more economical eating i can trawl through... what suppermarkets do you have near by? as that can make a difference too... im sure we will be able to sort something out on here... i think i have just given myself an excuse to sit on my bum and look through cook books :rotfl:

Rockie4 - the "food" hangover is soooo much worse than the "alcohol" one isn't it!!!! i rember that feeling so well ;) ... mind you have been working on the allotment -so im sure you have done more than enough exercise.. and no doubt working on there makes you hungry....
Hope you have a good day at work

Saversarn -nope it doesn't look a lot at all ;) crumble n custard -can't remember the last time i had that..mind im a cream girl myself - i love hot n cold together mmmmm and crumble with oats, coconut n brown sugar

Taplady - i think a 10hr shift earnt you a piece of pud :p -especially as you threw some cake away earlier in the week ;)

    Well for me today -
    1. brekkie was a yog and a banana
    2. lunch -leftover pasta bake -not throwing it away and hubby didn't eat it yesterday
    3. dinner -roast chicken, steamed potatoes, carrots, broccoli and peas
    4. inbetweenies -if i need them fruit or yogs
I was lay on the bed last night going through the list i had made from the freezers... making meal plans..got to week 9  before i went to sleep and there is still loads left :o so im going to carry on and see how many weeks i get to (especially now i have more chicken :rotfl: ).. that should keep me amused ;)

right i had better get off and get looking through some books..oh what a shame :rotfl:

have a great day all..and good luck to those weighing in today
hugs to all those in need and "hello's" to those not mentioned :D

*scuttles in a little bit shamefaced*

So anyway it was like this see...........we were in this restaurant and EVERYONE was having starters and I didn't see anything else I liked so i had goats cheese bruschetta...........and then broccoli and asparagus pasta thingie...........with some red wine..............and then a bit more red wine

And then went and did some drinking and a bit of dancing..............and quite a bit more drinking.............and then we walked back to the apartment and someone SHOVED a pizza in my hands and because I was a bit wobbly I might have eatted it all

And then we woke up on Sunday and I was a bit wobbly and everyone else had one so I had a full english breakfast as well.............

And then I got home and I was soooooo tired I really really couldn't be bothered to make dinner and so bought me and the nipper a McDonalds

    :o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o:o

So not only have I eaten my own body weight in the most fattening food known to man I have also severly damaged me bloomin' bank balance.

Needless to say I am NOT getting weighed today :p I'm moving it til Friday to give my poor body chance to detox. I fink I feel a bit sick acktually.......

Well done everyone who isn't me, I think I win the prize for most motivational post - because regardless of how bad/good you have been you couldn't possibly have been as bad as me :D

  • Morning all,

Quick one as I've got to whizz off and pick up 2 of my nephews who are coming for the day.. should keep DS2 happy. :D

Feel lots better today and thanks a ton to pigpen and MrsMc yesterday. ;)

I think I was edgy about getting to the stage I can't usually get beyond.. around the 20st 5lb mark I normally start reversing. I'm not sure if only losing 1/2lb this week added to it, but it honestly didn't seem to bother me at the time, although I was surprised. Obviously something was brewing inside my head but not always sure what.

Opps that was the phone... mum wants picking up too when I get the nephews. Heck, a houseful and me with the dreaded stomach cramps today too. Still, lovely to have loads of company.

    Food today:

Might make breakfast brunch as I'm feeling too ick to eat just yet.
Pea & ham soup with slice HM bread
Mixed grill. Pork chop, HM sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, salad and 4 or chips.

MrsDoyle - I think a hobby would be really helpful too. I'm enjoying doing my x-stitch and I've found that on the days I'm fidgety with food I get masses done. :D Nearly 3/4 the way through and can't wait to get on my new one. This black on black stitching is practically blinding me on these dark days. :p

All the best for the weigh ins today.
