Mooloo's struggle with babies and bills

Your son sounds as if he very clearly understands what his priorities need to be. Is there some way you can treat him to something special to make up for him very sensibly sacrificing his holiday? Thinking back to the difficulty you had in getting twin 2 out of bed the other day to feed her baby its breakfast, will the social workers be looking after the twins and their babies when you're on holiday ?
With the twins they will not be in the same durisdiction for the Social Workers so there will have to be a contact made accross to the team in Towcester/Northamptonshire area. this may mean that there is a gap in the swap over, however I have arranged for my Dad to call by in the first 3 days, and the last few, and the Biggest of Mooloos will be back off of her holiday so she will call. I have also asked my best friend if she can pop in.
I will probably telephone to check things.
She will feed the baby but not always on the set times pattern that we are trying to do, but twin1 has got it now (I think) and she will remind her sister. All in all I think we should be OK for the 10 days.
 I hopeWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well I am going to bed. Want to rest my arm/neck, and get an early start at the boxes etc tomorrow before Dad arrives to take stuff back with him, around 10.30am. NightWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

Well I am just having an early lunch. I got up just after 7am, made my tea and moved the washing on, and washed up the dishes ready to get the kids sorted for breakfast. DS has the worst chesty cough I have heard in ages. Kept us up most of the night, so I havent sent him to school. (Not that there is much point apart from to get his stuff from them). So I have had him supervising babies while Mums sorted out their clothes etc. I pottered in the kitchen and have packed some of the food stuffs and a few bits for me to make tea etc at the new house. My Dad came for the papers and we loaded his car up with boxes off odds and sodds that we dont need here, and that I can empty at the other end and bring back to load up again. He is going to hand in the papers and collect the keys. Then he and my Mum are going to go around to the house, and probably off load things into cupboards if possible. I have since been up in my room and sorting out one of my 3 wardrobes (oops),. I have organised bags to go to the charity shop, Rag, Summer and current stock, and labelled it so that its easy for them to sort it out.
I have also packed stuff into those suit carriers and into suitcases, etc. Most of my shoes etc in a huge hold all, and they can all go into my car. Along with any suitcases that the girls have managed to pack.
In the main room I remember there are fitted wardrobes, so I hope to hang up my stuff and bring the bags back for the next lot!.
We have a meeting at 2pm with the Social and its going to be a test as the father of BBJ is annoyed that we are moving so far away and thinks that it is a plot to keep him away from his son. Its not at all, and we are on the Bus Route from Oxford to Northampton that goes every two hours during the day. (DS has often used it to go to see his Dad). We have also said that the other grandparents can come and collect the baby on thier weekends on the Saturday and twin2 has agreed that he can stay over night with them. So they will get to see the baby every other week and over night. We have also said that as there will be none of the usual distractsions the father could take the baby out from our new house, and take him to the leisure centre, 5 minutes walk away, or the pocket park, or the McDonalds. So we are offering that he could take the baby out for a few hours on his own. Something that he has not been allowed to do so far.
After the meeting I am going to make sure my car is loaded up, as best I can and I am going to drive it to the new house. Means I will stay over night, (as advised) and come back early in the morning. And start all over again!!!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Good Luck Mooloo just wanted to wish you and your family all the best in the new house  wanted to send flowers but a drink will have to do. Hopwfully this will be the start of a happier time for you and the children. Can't offer any advice really as I have a phobia re packing.
Take Care honeyBooo!!!0 -
Mooloo I really hope it all goes well for you. Have you given up your job? I seem to have missed that. No-one deserves a period of peace and health as much as you do.And they do say, that a change is as good as a rest!Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0

Just a quick line to say that I have started the move. Shaz you are probably right, about overdoing it, its in my nature, but I will try hard not to.
I have stayed over last night to make it official. But there was a problem with the heating so it was brrrr cold. So I have rung the agents and getting them to sort it out
I JUST WANT TO SHOUT FROM THE TREE TOPS THAT THE SOCIAL SERVICES ADMITTED THAT THEY HAVE FAILED US IN OUR NEEDS AND THAT THEY HAVE DECIDED THAT AS I AM TAKING CONTROL OF THE SITUATION AND LEAVING WORK, BBJ IS OFF OF THE AT RISK REGISTER!!! Success.
Now I must go, got a second load of stuff in the car and want to take it back to the house. (Hadnt originally planned that but the upping of the medication has helped!).
Thanks for all the well wishes. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
