Can only suggest that your older daughter looks into social landlords, housing associations etc. It is SOMETIMES easier to get accommodation that way. Although you often have to go onto the 'council' housing list because they have a 'common' application procedure, your chances may be nil with council but a possibility through other providers.

Also part-rent part-buy schemes through HAs - worth a look at any rate.

Talked to my eldest on the phone last night. Will try and steer her into the right direction, bit difficult from here but at least I know she has been looking when all of the places I came up with she had tried!!.
I am running a bit late, off to work this morning, my assistant manager attempted to text me that she would be sick today, (apparantly she had been sick all day, with a migraine. (Except I know that she had been out with her fella in the afternoon, ), She seems to get sick a lot on her Day off, and be sick the following day. (Funny she always has Friday, Saturday, and sunday that way)> I text back told her she had better be in or it would look suspicious on her records, always sick the day after, and also to stay off the fizzy drinks the chocolate, and take some Migraleve!! Ooops. I shall feel bad is she really was sick, but history tells me differently.
Now I have 30mins to get to the shower and to work!!!

I made it to work, mainly becuase I drove the car down there, and parked up at the back of the shop. (Cant do that normally though as my car takes up all the back yard, and would be in the way of deliveries during the week!).
My assistant did turn up, but she was miffed that I had found her out. Her effort for the day was minimal. her lunch break was extended, and in the afternoon, I kept finding her sitting down chatting. So it wasnt the best productive time from her.!!
The shop however preformed well, and we broke our bad run and made target and above this week. I was thrilled at that. Will we be able to keep it going though this week? Obviously that is my aim for this week.
I went to see my eldest daughter yesterday. It was good to see her, but she was working her second job so it was not as enjoyable as I would have liked.
Trying to move myself today. My joints are protesting somewhat. I have been up for nearly 2 hours and still achieved absolutely, nothing!!.

The problem with that is there is always just too much that should have been done, and then isnt!!.
I have about 40 minutes before I have to leave for work, have had 2 cups of tea, and hoping that I will be able to move a bit faster now!!
    Emails read, does that count?
DS has gone to school, (least he has left for it). Twins and babies still in bed. Unusual twin2 is usually up with her lad by now?
Better go and see if I can find something to wear for work, that doesnt need a meet with the iron!!

Well its nearly my bedtime. The twins went out tonight. An old friend from Northampton came to visit them, so Granny to the rescue to babysit. I didtn sit down until about 30 minutes ago. Luckily the bones got working by about 10 this morning, so the paperwork side was done while I consumed copious amounts of tea, and delegated jobs!!.
The shop did terribly well today, we manged to sign up 2 new gift aid people, and sell a wedding dress from the window at £50 which will make the shop a further 28%!! Yippeeee. We even managed a good day today and did about £150 more than last Monday. Had a well done call from the area manager, just need to get that Gift Aid going better and I will be happy. (So would the area manager of course!!).
When I got home I dried up the dishes that were lerking and washed up all the baking/oven trays that were also having a lerk. I cleared the surfaces, put on the washing, and then after eating a salad, I managed to get twin1 to put a loaf of bread on to bake, before they went out and I had the babies. So it was put them to bed, which took about an hour, and while I was tooing and froing between babies, I changed my bed (Which for me is a great effort with my arm). I even managed to bring in the washing and hang out some other (If it rains it rains, but I know it wouldnt go out if I dont do it!).
I also managed to dig in another foot of compost into the 2" deep soil that is so called my back yard. Then I can put my buzzy lizzies in.
So although I didnt get the paperwork I wanted to do done, I have achieved a lot.
Only spent £1.65 of lunch, and nothing else.
Now its time for a slow soak in the bath to ease the aches and pains. I have remembered to put the teas made ready for the morning, and also the water for my tablets beside the bed.
Gosh such organisation? Wheres it come from?
Time for that bath and bed now that the mums are home and can take over the babies.

Another day gone by, and the morning is wizzing too fast for me. I just logged on at DBF's, to check my bank account, but it is telling me that the server is busy. Wanted to transfer some funds from my savings into the current account as I withdrew £150 yesterday, partly to pay for the laptop that twin2 has been wanting, and partly for things I need to get for the home.
I felt releived that I did not hurt too much after my long day on Monday. We had another good day at the shop too. So thats good, we even managed to sign on a couple of more Gift Aid people. so that is another plus.
The girls have a friend staying over for a few days. (think that there may be a story in all that at some stage too!!). But I havent a clue how long a few days is,,yet.
The other Grandparents contacted me yesterday, and want to have the baby for the weekend, etc etc. when I said that it was not up to me, but the Social and the mother, they got a bit threatening, and want a court order. (I say bring it on!!). They said I have denied access. I said they are welcome to come to the house to visit. I even said that they could have the baby this weekend, but only for a few hours on Saturday afternoon, as thier son has his access, supervised, on Saturday morning. Apparantly its not worth only a few hours. (They only live about 40 mins away by bus so by car it cant be bad. The Granny works here in town centre. Whats stopping her coming in on her way through for goodness sake??.).
Personnaly I am quite happy for them to have responsibility for a day, but Mum is not wanting to seperate from the baby. He is only just 6 months old. So as far as I am concerned I cant force her. Possibly the courts will. But that will take time, and as the baby gets older I am sure that the Mum will be more relaxed. she is just getting over the father taking the baby the other week. I dont think that he tells his family whats happening and why he is denied access. Violent outbursts are not to be tolerated around a small baby. (well not child really).
so another battle is brewing for me to have to handle. Where is the family support worker..... Not answering the phone or available!! Bloody brilliant.!!!
Now lets go see if the server is working. I am going to be late to work. Drat...
    Have a good one everyone.

Hi Mooloo. Good luck with the other grandparents. Is there any possibility that they could be sympathetic to you and DD if they heard some home truths about their son?

My online banking is not working this morning either.
