Hi Mooloo. That sounds like a lovely weekend. Very nice of everyone to give clothes for your girls! Does twin2 get on OK with her ex's family? I remember you had hassles from them before.

She seems to get on OK when she goes to their house. I am not sure if its becuase she gets taken out and about, and they hog the baby!? But as long as she doesnt mind, I wont complain.!

Twin1 feels a bit left out, as we have no contact with her babies father or the family. He still denys she is his. But twin1 doesnt seem bothered about that, just about being left at home alone.! Mind you she gets the TV to herself so thats a bonus!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Its time I go through the washing and take out all the stuff thats too small for the babies, and get them either sold, or recycled via work.

On the subject of washing, it really bugs me that you're doing it all. That's not right!

Can't you give each twin a couple of big laundry bags and let them get on with it? They need to get their washing done during the day, so that you can use the machine for you and your son when you get home from work. If they want to combine forces and do it together, that's fine, but it really really shouldn't be your problem, IMO!

Apart from telling you he's not been there, what are the school DOING to support you and DS with his absences? I think I suggested a while back that he should have a Connexions adviser, that they might have a mentoring scheme, or that there might be a counsellor he could talk to. He's been through a lot too, and it's not an easy age.

Also I think I'd want to know straight away if he wasn't in school - not two days later. If he didn't turn up for registration, I'd want to know, so that I could phone him. OK he might not answer, or might have his phone switched off, but it's far harder to keep up the story of "I was there, they just didn't mark me in" if you're on his case the same day, every day it happens! At least, I find with my sons that it's nigh on impossible to deal with 'incidents' if I don't find out the gory details until a day or so later!

I would like to say "tell me about it", but not sure thats the right phrase exactly. !
I have not been on the computer for a week!. Mostly as the internet wireless wasnt working, and the others were on the main computer. Yes we finally have that one back. So there are now 3 computers in the house!.

Twin2 does occasionally put some washing on, the problem is it will sit in the machine unless I nag.!!
I have left lists, but I have to confess not to being consistant enough with leaving my lists.! I must do better. The shear stress and strain of life just gets to me on occasion.
I havent even written my diary that I usually pore my heart out into!.
I suppose some of it was time factors, some of it procrastination.
I struggled with the girls this last week. I stressed out, and I exited the building rather sharply to my BF's as much as I could.
So I pay the consequences of things not being done.
Now twin2 has decided to give the father another try, I am having to deal with that and what it intails too.! Mostly that the ******* is hanging around here, and they are not meeting at the designated family centre. When I was at BF's on Saturday he was here at my place until 11.30pm!! He was here around 10am. When I got in from work at 5.30pm, he was here and I had to stretch the dinner to feed him!.
I have given the man more chances than I can care to admit too, and here I am trying to be polite to him, when really I want to shout at him to go forth and multiply else where!!
What do I do now, its rediculous. On Monday she was asking me to get a restraining order on him, and on Friday its, oh we are trying again! I just dont understand what is going on!. Has she given in to pressure from him? I think so, but she wont say that so I dont really know what to do now.
Twin1 is harping on about it not being fare living here, and that she wants a flat of her own. So when I had a rant I said go on then, go and get one!.
Son bunked off of College on Friday, ( I thought he was at least going there!). And I had to go and get him from the family I dont want him mixing with. So I had to stand in her kitchen, listening to her telling me whats going on with my son at College. Apparantly the thing is he is being bullied, so he said. Actually I think its a whimp out. I really do not believe that hes telling the complete truth. That sounds awful, but the only thing he said the bullies were doing was throwing things at him in glass when the teacher wasnt looking. ? I have said was he going to let 3 bullies let him ruin his whole future, and fail at school, college? I have said that I would investigate with the college, and see if we can sort it out. But I really was at the end of my tether at the weekend.! I also was angry that he went to that woman and not here to me. I would say I dont want our "dirty linen" hanging out, but then I tell it on here? But its more annonomous on here, (well there are the odd people who know who I am now, butnot many).
The sun is shining here in Oxford. I am back at work on a full time basis. I am waiting for the results of my Xray to my hip.
My arm is not too good, from doing too much at work on Saturday. So I must do a bit more of the organising and less of the action, or I will be introuble.
I bought some compost and several pots to put plants in, so I am hoping that we can get a bit of colour in our grey breize blocked garden, and cover it with climbers etc and any other colour. I found that the soil is only 2 " deep, then its concrete underneath, so nothings going to grow in that, apart from the grass thats growing anything but grass!!.
So its time to breathe in, and get some fresh air, before I plan the next stratergy to attack the mess!!
Unless I save up and get a cleaner in!!!

I have now been given a recipe for bread tht was designed for my machine, so I am off to put some bread on!. The BF has been making bread everyday and putting me to shame. So I think I better get my act together and use my machine. I have all the ingredients, so must make the effort to make it!.
My son has left for school, on my bike, so I will be ringing them at about 9.30 to see that he did get there. Unfortunately his mobile phone charger is broken so he has not got his phone. I am going to take it to work with me and see if I can get a new one for it, on my lunch break!. More expense.
I promised the girls if they sort out the spare room, I will turn it into a babies play area. So I have a bean bag to stuff, and try to copy making one for the room. I also said that I would buy them the baby walkers. My eldest daughter (the normal one living away from home), has ordered the second highchair for us.
Twin1 has now overspent on her money in all places, so I am going to have to rein her in a bit for a few weeks.
Twin2 is also struggling to manage her money, and I am worried that as I dont have any control over hers, she will get into a bother!.
Oh well, better go do that bread before I go to work.
Have a good day one and all. x

Morning, well I have a successful loaf of bread from yesterday, and another one is in the machine for today. So home made bread for my sandwiches for me today.
Yesterday twin1 went out in the evening, missed the last bus back from a village in the middle of nowhere (to see a boy), and it cost me £15 for a taxi to get her back just before midnight!. I am knackered as by the time I stopped it was nearly 1am. And getting up at 6.15 is knackering.
I have to be at work at 8.30 this morning to let another shop manager have some stock, before we open. So I plan to leave early later. If I can.
We had so much stock its a health and safety issue, so loads of bric a brac to be forewarded to another shop.
Twin2 is still trying to sort it out with BBJ's father, but I am worried that it will all blow up in her face again.!. I suppose I must cross that bridge when it comes. (And the idea that they want to move out again,).
If they think life is tough here they have a lot to learn!!.
I have decided not to shout at them about anything this week. I will ask, and I will walk away. If its not done, I will just ask again, politely. If at the end of the week they have no clean clothes, or the mess is up to their ears perhaps they will do something about it?
Maybe a threat of posting a photo of thier rooms on the internet? Mmmmm.

Finally the school have emailed me with some of the work that DS has to do. :T We have just had a run in over him talking on MSN while he is studying. He is driving me totally mad:mad: . He has to do 4 pieces of work, that he has not done yet, and thats just for english. I await the rest of the teachers returns. The only reason I found out about that was after I rang, and rang, and I emailed the school saying that i was not happy with things. Voila, at last an email back!
So Romeo and Juliet, Jaws, Jeckll and Hyde, Inovative writing piece and something else thats just slipped my mind.
Unfortuantely I will have to keep walking into check up on him. Girls on the MSN are distracting him. I keep telling him to close it down, but he is on it as soon as I walk out the room.
I managed to get some more reduced meats on my way through Co-op today. So although I had hoped to have a no sale day, the temptation was there to stock the freezer. :o I spent £9.66 but I did get 6 chicken kieves, 4 packets of bbq spare ribs, and 6 chili burgers. The savings were quite good as I got them at half price and also had the multi buy discounts too!.
So off to alter my signature. Oh twin2 decided to spend some of her Healthy start vouchers on some fruit and veg. I didnt realise that the local green grocer accepted them. So she got peppers, potatoes, grapes, bananas and strawberries. They would have been £9.46 but she only had to pay the 46p. Better still she paid it and didnt ask me for the difference back. i.e. the pennies. So thats not coming out of my budget!!!:T

    Hiya Mooloo
although I have not posted on your thread for ages, I do read it. I followed you over from the DFW board.

I know where you are coming from re the MSN, although I use it to keep up with family and friends when OH's daughter is here it drives me mad!!!!!

She used to have a pc in her room but its broken, i think it needs new fan but we don't have the money to get it fixed and we do have 2 laptops so it is NOT a need, just a want.

Therefore she uses her dads laptop when she is here at weekends and all you hear all weekend is doodledupdupdup when she gets a new message, during the week i turn the sound thingy off, but she turns it back on grrrrrrrrr.

She brings homework with her and I tell her if she turns MSN off she will get homework done quicker .....I then get the 'my stepmum is an alien' look and loads of attitude.

Glad to hear you are doing ok with your breadmaker, I love mine but not sure I love the hips it is giving me :rotfl:

You did well on your reduced meat from the co-op, all we seem to get in our reduced bit is a few very small lamb chops that still seem to expensive to me:eek:

How is the baby play area going?
