According to the blurb it says the plug is locked into the gadget?
Mine would find the hex key and unlock it, then hide the hex key again ...

Or cut the plug off and put a new one on ...

But can't you get TVs on meters? So you have to pay to watch? Or did I dream that ...

I think the tvs that you have to pay to watch are usually ones you rent. This would be an additional expense, and I really cant afford to do that. I am hoping that I will be able to lure the girls into the new playroom that I am making for the babies, and into the garden if the weather is good, like it has been the last few days. The room I am converting was going to be a games room, with the Xbox, and the computer etc, but as the main computer got a virus and is currently at the ex ex husbands, house to be fixed, the room has become the junk room, that was used to put all the odd boxes etc in when we moved in. Currently there is a large futon, sofa bed, and a chair one, metal frames. They are far too big for this house, so I am thinking of advertising them on Free Cycle, and see if anyone wants them. Actually correct that, the Sofa is good enough the chair isnt, I just remembered making a webbing at the bottom of the chair some 4 years ago, as the metal poles snapped.
Anyway I want the furniture gone, and then I am going to put in some beanbags. I have looked at the sites that have been suggested, and I have looked in Wilkinsons, a shop near where my shop is. I managed to get a second hand Disney bean bag at work the other day, for a few pound and then I bought Bean bag refil for £4.99 so I will have one up and running in a day or so.
Then Wilkinsons sell new ones at £12.50. Although I think that I could probably attempt to make them with bits of fabric from the remanents that I have lurking around the place from my old sewing days. The only problem with me sewing is that with my arm it will take time. (It took me several weeks and nearly 2 months to make my curtains becuase of my arm).

I have been at work all week, even though I am struggling with the pain at the moment, but I have at last got today off.
With the Twins help I am going to do a top up shop at the local Lidl that we found a fortnight ago, and then see if I can stand over them to get the next few boxes sorted out of the famous junk room.

Yesterday the landlord decided that he wanted the double bed from my room back, so I was a little annoyed. I do have my own bed I brought with me, but I was using his matteress as it was a better one than mine, and also the time span of him asking for it and wanting it. The other thing was that it was included in my rent, and my inventory, so I want a receipt for it. However he took, it while I was out taking my sons friend home. so no receipt. I will have to go around and ask for one now. (I dont want to be billed for a double bed when I leave, if its still ont he inventory and I havent got one to leave).
So I spent the night on my own bed, (lumpy matteress and all).
I managed a lie in, but wish I hadnt as I ache all over.

Went to the doctors yesterday, about my hip, he thinks it could be Arthritis, but as I have spondylitis, he wants and xray done to see that there is nothing else that could be the cause. Most common though is the theory that its sciatica. Although I had that several years ago, and its just not the same pain at all.
Well I better rally the girls around and see if we can do something with the day.

Anyway main point of posting saw you were going to Lidl, have you tried their nappies (for the babies obviously) they are really good I found them better than the big name brands.

Bit naughty of the landlord to come and get the bed when you're not there! They're not supposed to just walk in - did you know he was coming?

Yes we have tried the nappies. I didnt buy them today, as when they ran out on Sunday I bought 62 nappies each in Sainsburys.! But I will be trying to get to Lidl a bit more, when I am able to drive. I must admit it was a struggle today. I am really struggling just typing in here today.:o

He telephoned yesterday morning while I was out at work and told twin2 he was coming around. She did tell him that I was at work and could he wait till I got home. But he continued to tell her he was coming around. Of course I got home then DS wanted me to take his mate back home as its 4 miles away, where he lives, so I did that. I was planning on going and seeing the landlord after I had done that. But he was in a hurry I think> Oh well its done now.
I cant find my contract, but when I do , I will check out the terms.

Well just to add to all of our problems the school rang while we were in Lidl and told me that my son has not been in school for the past 2 days. I have absolutely no idea why he is doing it, what he is doing and why he is telling me lies. ?
I think sometimes that the life I have is just too ****** hard.!

On the shopping front, I spent a massive £90.39p.
But we bought a lot of things that were not food, so I will take that off of my grocery challenge before I change my signature.
We have bought a Beach Shelter, for the girls to put the babies in the garden. I also bought shoes for me, and Trainers. I have not had trainers for about 7 or 8 years, and I picked some up. My BF will be amazed that I have any.
I also bought so much that the freezer is overloaded. So I will really have to be careful next time I go in there as I got a bit carried away.
Luckily I had the cash on me. I had been keeping the Housekeeping that twin1 pays me in a cash box in my room. So I had cash to use up.
(Twin2's money goes into my bank account).

The effort of going out has taken me to the limits of my capabilities today. So its going to have to be a rest before I can think of anything else to do.
Well I can think of a lot that needs to do, its just being able to do it is a no no. :rotfl: :rotfl:
Wondering what I can say to my son when he gets in, and what time will he get in. ?

Well yesterday my son came home, while I was having a lie down. Around 5pm. He swears blind that he was at school both days, and said he had PE and English, but when I asked what he was doing in the rest of the day it was a bit hazy. I have told his father, (even though we have been divorced since 1994!). he said that he will have a word with him, and also to get his supervisor at work to have a work, as Son wants to do the same career when he is finished school, so was planning to do his work experience at his Dads work place. His dad reckons that if his supervisor tells him off he might listen? I dont know, if the guy can get through to him I would be amazed as nobody else has managed to get through to him so far.
I must also ring the school and get them to check with the various teachers that he had yesterday just to make sure.
I am struggling this week with the pain in my neck, arm and now hip. I would prefer not to have to work, but today is the assistants day off so I have to go in.
Unfortunately I am not going to be able to do much on the physical side, but at least I can be the conductor of the orchastra, if you get my drift.
DS has just left for college today. I hope he gets there? I am so worried about him.
Twin2 has to go and meet the father of BBJ today, and he (the baby) has to have his injections. (MUm has been missing the appointments dispite writing them on the calender.).
I have been looking at my Lidl shop. We bought 4 pairs of footwear on that, so there is only £60 worth of food, etc. Not so bad.
Still havent done the menu plan to go with all the shopping. But the freezer is full, and so are all the cupboards. (Wonder what I have forgotten though?)
Time for a shower before I go to work. See if I can get a bit of heat into my shoulder. Perhaps I will take my wheat pad to heat at work, we do have the luxury of a microwave at work.!

Well its Sunday evening already. (Where does the time go?)
On Friday I rang the school, they checked into the fact that DS said he was there, but none of the teachers marked him in on any of thier lessons. So he is in big trouble. He has been away to his dads for the weekend.
I worked on Friday. It was a struggle. But I did it. When I got home the girls didnt want any tea, so I didnt plan much. Then when they were hungry we just had some Salad. I went around to my fella's for the weekend again. Its getting a very nice habit to be in, however I pay the price for the mess and lack of activity on the housework front when I get back home!.
We went out for a walk to the local pub in the village (Lewis and inspector Morse have been filmed there), and met up with 2 couples that are friend with my BF, and I suppose friends of mine in a way now. We had a few beers in the garden watching the ducks etc ont he river. Then we walked on to another pub half way home. Had another in their and on back to DBF's.
On Saturday we went out for a good part of the day, taking a picnic, and driving in the Kit car he has. We went to a local canal, and watched the boats going by. We had Wine, then we made Bacon Rolls, and had banana bread for pudding, washed down with a cup of tea. :T Thats the life.
In the evening we went to listen to one of our friends who sings and plays in a band, and several others came along. It was another good evening. What with the lovely weather as well.
Today we went to Finmere market, again in the open top little kit car. It was great to have all my cares and worries blow out and about in the wind, along with my hair. I was the last of the big spenders. All weekend all I spent was £3 on two icecreams (today) and £2.50 on the market, for a potatoe peeler, insulating tape, and a note book for my handbag. Then on the way back we nipped into Tesco and I bought some Yeast for the breadmaker.
DBF has made some wonderful bread on the machine I got for him. I think its better than mine. I still havent found what I did with the recipes for mine, but his machine has a much bigger pan than mine so I cant copy his ones. Yesterday he made peanut butter bread. That was lovely.! Now I need to go on a diet as I have eaten so much.
When I got back this afternoon, I managed to make a few inroads into the mountain of washing, 5 loads so far. And probably as many still to make!.
Twin2 was out for the day with Exbf family. She got back about 7.30/ along with a few bags of extra stuff to sort out. Shoes and things for her that the lady has given her.
When DS got back from his dads there were also 2 large black sacks of clothes brought from his new wife for the girls.?
No wonder there are clothes everywhere in this house.
Still not managed to get the babies room sorted, I will have to weild a stick or something.(metaphorically speaking of course).
Time to check the washing machine again.
Am at the hospital tomorrow at 8.15 for my exray. So I better not over do it today.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Hi Mooloo. That sounds like a lovely weekend. Very nice of everyone to give clothes for your girls! Does twin2 get on OK with her ex's family? I remember you had hassles from them before.
