Hello, sorry I have not been around. I still dont have access to the internet at the cottage.
I love the peace and quite that I have at the cottage. DS still living with the twins at the old house. (Which is in chaos!).
He will be coming to the cottage with me next week. He starts his GCSE's on Monday, and by the 12th June it will be all over for him at school, and he will be off out in the big wide world soon.
My Dad has paid for DS to have a provisional Driving license, and I am on the look out for a second hand moped for him. With the help of biggest of Mooloo's.
I have just arrived back in Oxford to see my BF who has been really good about the move, and has helped me over the last two weekends.
There are a few things that need fixing, and draughtproofing, but I feel at home there with my few things around me now.
The Social Services have totally let us down. The place in the New Horisons is NOT AVAILABLE for the twins anymore, and they are now with two new social workers. So we are in a panic as to where they are now going to go at the end of the month.!
We have spent a lot of time at various councils and with numerous people coming and going to see the girls, but with no action in place what so ever.
I was not originally planning on moving into the cottage straight away, but I just had to get away from it all.
I have a nightmare of a two or three weeks ahead of me. But I am positive that this is the right move for me, and so I must continue on my path.
Funds are tight. Bills are higher then expected! So whats new there!.
Health has been very up and down, but I started a Pain Management course today. Lets hope that that does some of the things its designed to do for me.
I will not be on line much until the phone and internet are installed in the cottage on the 22nd May. *then the kids will have been cut off and will have to rely on thier mobiles!.
I go back most days, call on the days I dont. The mess frightens me. I am always walking into a disaster zone, but the girls think they are coping!
It all remains to be seen.
I even managed to get my sewing machine, some patterns and material out yesterday evening, and start to make a little top for grand daughter, BGP.
Slowly, I will make it, bit by bit, (Unfortunately I cannot do it all in one go anymore!).
Now I am going to relax here at BF's. We are driving down to Brighton to collect a boat for him tomorrow!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Hi Mooloo,
Your son needs to sit his CBT to drive a moped. Not sure if you were including that in the provisional driving license - but for bikes/mopeds the provisional license is not valid on its own. Like this one:

Hope things pick up for you when you eventually get into the cottage.0
