Mooloo's struggle with babies and bills

I had a sleep for a little while, but got up to go back to the doctors for my prescription and sick note. Called in to see my parents briefly. Posted the DLA form and the EPP form. Tried to sort out Npower, but after 3 months of problems they now say I am NOT eligable for thier First Steps Programme, and I am now panicking about the amount of money my bills will be before I leave!.
Sick of me chasing them and them saying they havent got this or that everytime!.
Cooked the dinner for DS and myself and a couple of his mates. Not for the twins (they werent hungry). One of DS's friends wanted to go to the youth Coffee shop, that biggest of mooloo's runs, so I dropped her off and had a chat with my eldest. (Hardly see her at the moment, as she has her place etc and BF is back on the scene).
Time to relax now.
Said I was going to have a glass of wine about half and hour ago, and still on the computer.!
Did I say that there is a greenhouse I can use in the garden of the cottage?
I can start to grow my own, which is so exciting. Not that I am a very good gardener, but I am willing to learn. While I still can. I will need help of course.
Sure DS will help me.
Paperwork for the cottage will be with me tomorrow if the post is on time. Then I will really feel that its going to be mine. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
PS. I forgot that I did pay off £150 on the Npower bill, to show willing.
Also paid for the house contents still with the same supplier, as it was the cheapest price, even after quotes. So bank a bit depleted!.Tomorrow it will be about empty when the deposit is actually paid. Ah well when its gone its gone!.
MSE will definately be my home.!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Another gloomy wet day here. Going to take twin1 and BGP to see her BF, as he had an accident at work yesterday and dislocated his shoulder. What is it with BF's and shoulders with this family.!
When I come back, I have the forms for my new tenancy to read through, sign and my payment to sort out. Then it really will be real!.
Actually slept a lot better, perhaps the difference of the volteral last night!.
Twin2 reckons her new BF has proposed to her! Scarey. Happy families in the offing a bit soon?.
Time to get dressed and get moving, too much GMTV and Jeremy Kyle!! OopsWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well I seem to have been a Taxi service today, taking twin1 and BGP to Roade, to see her BF. Then a little later taking twin2 and one of her friends to the dentist.
I also then went back out again this afternoon after I had read and signed my Tenancy agreement, and arranged for a bank transfer for my deposit.!
Cooked a chicken and prawn stirfry, as we had a lot of kids around, so its a good one to stretch.
Four chicken breasts, and half a packet of cooked prawns with a few carrots, peppers and stock cube, etc. with a big pan of rice, and a couple of Asda cheap garlic baguettes.!! Served 6 so far, with some still to eat!.
But its time for me to rest up. Done a lot of driving more than usual and so must rest my arm now. So not lots n lots of typing that will not help.!
Hope everyone has a food weekend, the sun is trying to peak through the rain here now. So lets hope its a better weekend.
Now to read my little gem book about Food for Free, that arrived this morning. Ordered it when I ordered a sewing book from amazon at the beginning of the week. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

I hope you have a fantastic weekend Mooloo. This will be the second last weekend in your current home if you move into the cottage as soon as you get the keys!! :beer:0

That means that I must get a move on with the sorting and the packing.
But not tonight. I am looking out for the babies. So bit of TV.
I just realised that when I went to do a menu plan, my brain just couldnt come up with very much, and that the food stuff I ordered didnt have any meat except the mince we had yesterday. No wonder it was only £86 this week.
What was I thinking of?
So I will need to spend a bit more on meat.:o
BF is coming tomorrow, due around lunchtime. So I must nip out for something decent for our evening meal, as he usually feeds me well when I go to him. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Mooloo if you want to keep the costs down on your shopping why don't you post what you 'do' have on the oldstyle board and they will help you come up with a meal plan, maybe some veggi meals are in order while you try and empty the food cupboards ready for the move?
You seem to have got a lot done over the last couple of days, well done.

I was just having a read at the front of the grocery challenge for some recipies.
I think tomorrow morning I will do a bit of a stock take, I have alot of cupboard stuff, but not much else.! But I have still quite a bit of my budget available, so I can still manage to get some meat.
I have a few bits and pieces of beef stewing steak, 2 turkey drumsticks, and a gammon ham, but not much else really. Other then the easy stuff the twins cook, i.e. fish fingers and chicken burgers. But it wont take me long to get my act together and work it out!. #
I am certainly feeling much more positive then I have done in a long while. I just hope my energy will catch up.!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
The volteral made a big difference to me last night, I had a lot less pain then I have had in a long time. Making me sleep a lot better for a change. Been awake since 6.15 this morning though. Did some early "meditating". My mind is so full of things to do.
Have cleaned up the kitchen from yesterdays mess.
Blitzed the work surfaces.
Cleaned the grill
Cleaned the oven
Cleaned the hob.
Filled and emptied dishwasher.
Been to parents to borrow lawn mower.
DS has/is doing the lawn
Been to Homebase to get a new strimmer. (Wanted the middle but dont do them anymore).
Swept the kitchen and dinning room.
Changed my bed
Cleaned my bathroom
Cleaneed the main bathroom
Geeed up the twins and thier fellas to tidy up the sittingroom. Hoover it.
To put away their washing and to make all thier beds/sofas etc.
Got twins to hang out washing as I have done it.
On the 5th wash now.
Think its time for my lunch and a break. Never managed to get so much done in days! Weeks maybe even years.
My book on growing Veg, that I ordered on internet arrived today. Something to read to get me into the mood for the future!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
