Mooloo, I've just started to read your thread and have to just say what a remarkable woman you are! :T I'm only up to March 2008 so I've got quite a way to go to catch up yet but I will get there!
If you don't mind me asking there's a few things I'm confused about? As I understand it you have both your twins & their babies living with you, I'm a bit confused about why you are the carer as the girls are both adults? Please feel free to tell me to mind my business it's just I'm finding it a bit confusing when you mention social workers & health visitors etc. as the girls are both adults.Dum Spiro Spero0 -

Social Services would not let the girls look after their babies on thier own, and so they sent them back to mum! Hence why I am caring for everybody, and slowly going insane at the same time! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
How frustrating! On the one hand, well done to the twins for not letting an apparently random stranger into the house! On the other, why not give you a shout and ask if you were expecting anyone? When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

Well things have been a bit better today. The kitchen etc is now back up to scratch, (me of course), and there is a chicken defrosting for the evening meal. DS is off to his friends in Oxford for the weekend. Biggest of Mooloo's working at the Club tonight. BF's central heating has gone down, so I am taking a couple of heaters accross as the forecast is a bit cold for tonight.
Collected my letter from my parents to send to Social Services. So I am being positive and I am being proactive!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Don't worry about upsetting Social workers or Health visitors Mooloo. I know when I was still working I welcomed complaints as it was the only way to show management that the current regime/caseloads weren't working!Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0

Hello, I am back home. The twins have gone out. Surprisingly the front room may not be perfect but it shows that they tried. They didnt ring me over the weekend either. So no dead bodies when I got back.¬!!
I am still deaf in my right ear, that will be syringed tomorrow. Not looking foreward to that, but looking foreward to be able to hear something again! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

I just had to see if I could copy a smiley from Hypno's thread Dam I cant get it to work on here.!! I must learn how to get more technical. lets face it, I have the time if I organised myself better.!
Oh it worked. Didnt on my page infront of me! He he....When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well the letter to Social Services complaints department has just winged its way by email across to them. I had telephoned them to find out the address to send it, and they said that they will accept it by email. so I may as well send it that way and save on the postage and they will be accessing it as we speak... Well theoretically if you get what I mean!.:T
I have taken DS to the Doctors as he is yet again ill. The Practise Nurse saw him, yes he has a bit of a sore throat but nothing to worry about. But she has taken blood samples to test him for a few things and to check for Glandular Fever. She thinks that he is stressed too!.
So she talked to him quite nicely actually. He actually opened up to her a bit. (Well it was better then the grunts I get out of him!).:rotfl:
As a result I have also emailed the school, (Well I did ring them first), and asked them to help me to help him.
Biggest of Mooloo saw a small flat for rent, that is within her price range on her own., so we went to look at it this morning. She is going to take it, if no body else gets their fingers on it first. But I will have to help her with the deposit. (mmmmWhere have I said that before?).
So that means that my reserve funds that my parents are hanging onto for me are now depleated. So it will really have to be a very MSE year ahead for me to be able to fund another move for me later in the year.
I will not be able to stay in this lovely house when the girls finally move on. (They will, wont they?) So DS and I will be on our own again and we will not manage £1200 a month on our own., and housing Benefit will not fund us to stay in a house that is bigger then our needs.! So I am going to try to make the most of this lovely house and garden while I am here, and save every 1p
that I can.!
I think that my:A guardian angel is around somewhere, as I have been finding 1ps all over the place over the last ten days or so, and sometimes even a 5p piece. Infact I think I have found one every single day. I found one on the windowsill of the empty flat today!. Yesterday I found one on the path beside the house, and one on the patio!! Every little helps!!:j
Now its time for me to have a bite too eat and then get the washing moved on. There is no rest for the wicked so they say. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hi Mooloo. I've only just found this and began reading, got to page 7 before baby got bored, bt didn't want to read and run. I think you're so strong and inspirational.
I shall get this baby to sleep then return x0 -

Hello HeidiBoo, I think you had a visit from the nonny mice lately? I remember sending a card to you. Hope you received it. Hope the baby goes down for you. My grandchildren are hanging around my feet at the moment, as its nearly tea time, then Bath and Bed. Of which I am not participating today. I have been day dreaming today, not been feeling as if I am any way inspirational, more mentally challenged!!
Sorry its quite a long thread now as its been over a year! When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
