I bet she's laughing having someone pay £100 for her phone bill! I wouldn't let my partner pay my £30 if it was for my sole use! I think at very least you could drop this to every other weekend. There is no point spoiling your credit future this early on - if she's with you then she should be telling you this - not us!0

Ebay is that as a seller or buyer? If buyer just don't pay, the seller will then issue an alert and you will communicate with them, tell them you can't pay or only a little at a time. You can also talk to them before an alert. If as a seller then your account will be blocked till you pay it, is there a problem in that happening?

Hi There,
I was a seller.
Problem is, i did ignore it, and now i have ingrim justicia wahtever there called, ringing me :S0 -
I think you know that the only way to cut cost is to cut the spend on the girlfriend. Its a harsh and sad truth.
USe Voip call to contact each other skype, or if she is in uni hall she might have a freewire phone. Download that, its free.
You really have to stop seeing her as much at that cost. To save costs (depending on where you are) get the train, buy tickets weeks in advance.
There is a good YMCA in the middle of guildford. Near the train station.
Can you walk/bike to work... less fuel... less parking.
Have you got anything to sell... this could help clear the immediate credit card limit problem and paypal etc.. If you sell you will get a better rate that the baliff will give you. You could end up loosing your car if they come.
What car you have? Could you downsize... it would help insurance (which is extortionate for us 19 y/os!) If its worth a few thousand, sell it and buy a banger, temporarily.
Next thing... phone/write to everyone you are in debt with and explain the situation, it will make them back off for a while.
Also you you take on a pub job in the evening after work... extra income.
Basically it wont be easy, or fun, but it is necessary. I bet you could cut nearly every outgoing cost by thinking about it and deciding if it is necessary, can you afford it, and can you cut it.
Best of luck and hope you can sort it all out, you are in a similar situation to one of my best mates... who is too stubborn to change and will soon end up with nothing.Claimed back bank charges - Jan 08 (Despite Court case!) :money:
Really want to win a car

Hi Guys,
First off, please dont judge me. I have made some mistakes and i am fully aware of what i have done. This is why i have come on here to get some help
Noone here will judge you hun, we've all been there to some extent. But be prepared for some tough love (especially if Jacks pops in!), as on your wages with your cost of living expenses, i.e. no rent, negligable food costs, you should be flying high!
Basicly...
I have a salary of £1100 a month. - great for your age, well done!
I have asked them to call my mobile number instead, bu they guy said it was down to the operator who calls which number he rings. So can i get them to stop calling me? and send a letter. yes, or when you call to ask them to use mobile, get them to delete house number from the file.
I earn £1100 a month
My spendings are (rufly)
£160/w on seeing my girlfriend (this cannot improve at the moment so this has to stay) seriously, could you not make it 3 weekends out of 4, or even fortnightly, this is serious! You lived 18 years without this woman, you could go 10 days!
£100 on mobile phone bill (again cant find a better deal, and i am tied in for another 6 months on this contract) - surely they can do you a better deal than this, or are you going over inclusive minutes every month? If you are review your contract, tell them you maybe have to cancel their DD and they will become another non-priority creditor if they don't cut you some slack.
Car parking at work (£120/m) - is it worth parking away from work and walking a mile or so to avoid tarrifs, or taking public transport. Plus i don't see any other motoring expenses?
food (£5/d) Do you pay any board/lodgings to your folks? Great if you don't but not good practice for the real world!
total - £1015
That leaves me with about £85 a month...

You really need to get your girlfiend to see the big picture and accept that hotels, meals out etc are all causing this problem to spiral outta control. Are your parents okay with it? Would you be able to bring her to you, and save some of the costs...?I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Thanks for this, I will certainly be looking at cutting it down from now on.
Only problem is, in the short term, i have these guys calling me!
What does the law say on this, Can i tell them not to call and only to contact me with letters and me reply with letters?
If so, what do i say????0 -
you ask them to put everything in writing and you will not deal with them by phone.0
-
I dont mean to be rude or anything or come across harsh
But really you cant expect these people to stop contacting you if you havent made an effort to give them a call to explain whats going on
Once you do you can request letter correspondance but really its all very well thinking about the short term but you need to figure in the bigger picture too
everyone so far has given you great advice0 -

Wow, thanks for this! Your really non presuring and a nice person!
Well basicly,
I can cut it down to 3 weeks, i want to cut it down more, but because of all the debt problems, it just makes me miss her more and at the moment im close to hurting myself or having depression if she isnt there for me.
As for the mobile, I get her to phone me, because then my dad cant see who im calling, because he doesnt approve of us. This using alot of minuits, and was comming to like £200 before i bought the bigger tariff. Obviously, wen this contract comes to an end i will be going down a few packages, so i could save £50 odd then.
For travel, i need my car for work, and its the nearest parking place, and i cant get public transport for that reason.0 -

I have contacted them, i have explained it, but now because im back at work this month they expect me to make half payments now, which i cant untill next month, because i only get paid in 3 weeks.
Meanwhile, the say they are passing this on to their solicitors, and im really scared.0
