If anyone is interested, AA have currently got a Seat Sale on (finished on 23rd March) and they're offering the best prices that I've seen for quite a while.

Plus RichTeaBiscuit on the Nevada/Arizona & California thread has just said that they got the MasterCard discount as well --- so it looks like the MasterCard 15% discount offer is still running :j:j

Absolutley correct, could not believe it.. I had our MAN-SFO flights on hold and thought for the price of a phonecall I'd try my luck. I saved £101.20 off the original screen price of £1084.20.

I tried using the code and was told it's only for certain full fares and not discounted. Is it worth calling again and getting a different agent?

AFAIK, it applies to all fares - perhaps someone else would be able to confirm ?

I booked my flight with them today saving £200 with the code. Thanks MTC for starting this thread. It is really worth trying them again until you get an agent who is informed and aware of the code.

Just phoned AA they tell me they think 15% discount expired 31/03/08.

They then asked me what the code was, when i said 'Master' they were of the opinion that this should be followed by some numbers??

I think from this conversation that the 'Master' code may have expired, but that there may be another 'promo' on, and he was fishing to see if i knew the code??

Anyone got any idea what's going on?

oh dear, if thats true, its a bit of a buggger. Hopefully, someone else will be able to flesh out the details for us.
