AA customer services aren't the most customer focussed, are they ? There are quite a few of us on here who have had to ring up several times to get what is advertised.

Right, here's my route.

MAN-ORD-LGA
LAX-ORD-MAN

Planning a 3 day stop-over NYC.

I haven't got the middle flight, ie NYC-LAX because i'm sure i can get it cheaper, plus US valid voucher codes should work on this. This trip should be on 7th June.

Well i 'saved' £70, over what AA were asking (two people). But could have gone MAN-PHL-LGA, LAX-PHL-MAN with US airways for £10 more, standard fare!

However everyone else, ie. Delta, conti, BA were MUCH dearer.

It was do do with getting 'bumped', but is probably not an option as you have a connecting flight from ORD.

IIRC the chances diminish greatly if you are not on a direct flight.

Can you e-mail me any info on the Mastercard deal? What are the restrictions? I want to fly from Austin to Chicago to Dallas during the month of May and was wondering if it would work. Any other specials you can offer would be amazing as well. chill_2007@hotmail.com

afaik it was valid for all flights on AA until the end of Dec 2008, but that may only be for flights originating from the UK. I think that Blindman may have the fill list of terms/conditions.
