If you want anything sorting, sort it yourself.
I've just had a very interesting conversation with my energy supplier. I'll wait until I receive the email before I post what was said.

Well, it's a very long email but basically it says my switch was completed, there's a flag on my account saying "Broker or 3rd party retentions" which means your switch was arranged through a comparison site or 3rd party.
Please be aware that E.on Next does not pay any 3rd parties for referring customers, or processing switches.
Any incentives or cashback offers you may be expecting from the 3rd party will need to be claimed directly through them.
If you used a cashback scheme such as the Cheap Energy Club, here are some steps you can take, blah, blah, blah. It's a very long email and I'm exhausted with it all.
Basically, you need a good lawyer to fight MSE. I won't tell you their opinion, or mine.
I'll write it out tomorrow. It probably applies to other companies.

PS- MSE / CEC
I claim my cashback you promised.
Advertising at its worst.

if you've clicked on CEC and clicked on the deal through the site, which you have because you said MSE confirmed this by email during the switch process, (you'll get your cash back within 3-6 months), then its for MSE (MONY Group) to ensure this is paid as stated.
They quoted within 3-6 months. If there is an issue with comms between MSE and Eon its not your concern. Your agreement is with MSE as it was advertised on their site and MSE receive a fee for this (albeit a small one apparently)
Eon didn't offer you anything apart from the switch under the Tarif MSE advertised.
You've done what was required. MSE need to do the right thing now and pay up. They know this.
Imo I don't think you'll get anywhere chasing Eon.2 -
No, I just wanted to check what E.on Next said. Of course, the CSA could be wrong but they seemed to know what they were talking about.
If MSE are knowingly telling 'stories' and making people wait and wait for something they know they won't receive, it's a good case for the ASA.

Might be worth all those who are still waiting for MSE cashback to flag it up to You and Yours on Radio 4? Can't do any harm.

It won't be a very good look for Martin, who is always plugging CEC on his show, if the press gets wind of this.
