Just would like to see who has or not successfully received cash back after switching through MSE and Cheap Energy Club?
I myself am still waiting after 7 months.
I have contacted the team several times but no joy and no time scale given as yet.
Whats your experience?

14 months. Swapped to Fuse Energy, the deal ends in November!

I bought travel insurance via Quidco in August and the cashback is estimated to be paid in October 2027. The policy will have expired by then. No explanation for that either.

Thats no good. Did you complain luci?
Any site advertising a product has to honour it if you meet the terms.
How long should it have taken?

No, I didn't complain. It was clearly stated on the cashback page that it would pay within 15 months, so I was aware before I bought it. However, like you, I don't understand why it should take so long. I know they delay cashback on something that could be returned or cancelled.

I don't know if it's in the T&Cs of the MSE CEC when to expect cashback to be paid.

I can understand why you haven't complained luci, a lot of people don't. There are always hoops that have to be jumped through, or often its not a lot of money. Not worth the trouble. Its a personal choice I suppose.

My thinking was they shouldn't just be allowed to get away with this. It will just carry on.
The MSE are great, but they advertised cash backs with energy switches and still are. Many people don't get them and this goes against what MSE is all about.

Believe me, if I'm due to get something that doesn't materialise, I complain and keep chasing it.

Have you checked the T&CS for the MSE CEC cashback to see what it says there about payment date?

    💪 Good to hear.
Yes, it says 3-6 within 3-6 months. The email I received saying the switch was going through also stated within 6 months. So not as advertised.
I have contacted them and they said that they are waiting confirmation from the new supplier but it doesn't wash now. If they advertise it as part of the deal on their own site they must honour it.
    What about you and Quidco?

I am OK to wait for the Quidco cashback, as they clearly said how long it would take. If it doesn't appear by that time, I will be chasing it.

I did ask MSE, they said they were still waiting for Fuse to pay them. So the wait goes on......and on...
