Has anyone tried aromalites?
I got them about a week ago and they seem to be helping with my OH's snoring.0 -
Earplugs, and if I get really desperate the spare room!! Its either that or kill OH!! Havent read whole of this thread, but if anyone has a simple, painfree method of curing snoring, they would make a fortune.

I've been a very heavy snorer for years, tried a few tricks but nothing seems permanent. Trying out something at the mo, will let you know if it works. Seems promising though.0

I'm such a light sleeper, that boyfriends who snore are strictly off limits!!
Thankfully I discovered my OH isn't a snorer, so he passed the test, but his dog snores something chronic. I've banned him from the bedroom (the dog), but he insists on sleeping up against the wall on the other side, and it drives me mad. My OH thinks I'm mean for banging on the wall and waking the dog up to stop him.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
My OH is a horribley loud snorer but over the years we have all learnt to live with it.
Recently he went to the doctor and mentioned his snoring and following a few questions by the Gp and subsequent consultations at the hospital, he has just been diagnosed with sleep apnea which is is a sleep disorder characterised by pauses in breathing during sleep, which in turn make him snore really loudly as he takes a breath-in again.0 -
Havent read the whole thread but losing weight can help. If that doesnt work Ive always found that a pillow over the face until they are almost suffocated does the trick.:smileyhea0

maybe just a tad extreme but i do sympathise
i snore to bring the cows home when i have had a drink (well lots of drinks)
have noticed i snore more now that i am fatter (size 14 now instead of 10)
keep telling OH this but he doesnt like the idea of me losing weight so he is stuck with the snoring.63 mortgage payments to go.

I'm the same, have found that no booze after 9pm means minimal snoring0 -
Be careful stopping him fully, she who must be obeyed threw away an anti snoring spray after a week as she said after putting up with it for 26yrs she couldn't get to sleep if I didn't snore, she says on the occassions I do go a bit load a quick elbow in the ribs stops me long enough to get to sleep, As for cause well I have had various tests for Sleep Apnoea etc, my BMI is quite low always has been, same with BP and cholestrol, I don't drink except on rare occasions, don't know what stress is, have no repertory conditions, don't smoke and sleep soundly every night, so all causes discussed I can saftly say are bull, doctors have put it down to a layer of skin on the back of my throat that is a little harder than normal, that's life, who cares.Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her. Kiss her; pleasure her. Kneel to her; lavish her. Assert to her; let her guide you. Obey her as you know how; Surrender is so wonderful! Loooovely... having some alien object in your ears every single night is not very pleasant and definitely not for everyone.0
