Where to keep your card?
My debit card dropped out of my phone case and I didnt notice, so I needed to cancel and order a new card.
Do you just use your mobile banking app for money/cash or do you use a bank card and keep it in your phone case or wallet?
I am thinking about turning back the clock and buying a small wallet.

Do you really need cash and what for?
Normally I have only my phone on me, no cards, no cash.

I have payment cards on my phone and usually carry a separate card sized purse with my driving licence, cards and an emergency £20 in.

I never use my phone for payment, always carry a debit and credit card and some cash in my wallet. Personal choice.

I don't do banking apps. Have told my OH to not consider them either - not that I'm controlling but that he doesn't lock his phone.
I have a small leather wallet that has my most used credit card - day to day purchases, my 2 most frequent loyalty cards, my debit card for our joint account, my second credit card that is used for foreign stuff. Also my driver's licence and my library card (cuz they have a printer which is handy and saves me buying one). There's a few vouchers as well. I rarely have more than £20 and I stuff that in there too except for the coins that go in my pocket.

I keep my cards in my wallet.
I did set up Google Pay on my phone, but had several occasions when the payment terminal wouldn't recognise my phone (mostly in Sainsbury's, but also one or two other businesses). After that, I gave up and reverted to carrying my wallet, with the cards in it. In any case, I'm old enough to qualify for a bus pass, which means having to carry the card if I go by bus. (AFAIK, there's no way of holding it on the phone.)
Also, I often go out and leave my phone at home.

Use Apple Pay almost exclusively. I do carry a slimline card wallet as well though, with a few essentials. Personal debit card, credit card, work credit card and drivers licence. There is enough space for a few notes (folded in half) as well.

Cards are kept in wallet which also has RFID blocking cards in it. I don't use Apple/Google Pay as I don't have a smartphone. I usually carry about £10 in cash for places that may be cash only.
Banking apps are on an iPad which never leaves my house.

I don't carry my phone with me......I find they are all to big for my pockets, even worse when in a phone case and when they do fit in a pocket they spoil the shape/hang/look of my clothes. It's worse in the summer when we all wear less. I suppose it you don't care much how you look then carrying a phone isn't a problem for you.
A small flat card wallet is all I need.

Cards, cash & driving licence in a wallet (bought myself a new one last year)
Also use my phone to pay on occasion.
