The 'Admin Charge' I think has always been part of Sky's new and renewal deals, and I mean from the very start of Sky. I've seen people charged (and actually pay) £10 twice when renewing TV and BB at the same time. I've personally never paid it once in my 18 years (except possibly on initial contract but maybe not even then). I just tell them I consider it as price gouging and any deal is strictly contingent on not paying it.

I got my email today.

Starts off saying how £15 worth of streaming apps are coming to my my sky sub and then tells me that I will have to pay an extra £5 for the privilege.

I will have to call/chat to them soon.

Got my email today - almost 10% rise in my monthly cost. I had a fruitless WhatsApp chat with someone - he was trying to say I was getting 'a loyalty bonus' with the extra apps (all ad-plagued standard rubbish I don't want). Ridiculous. Talking to the cancellation team now.
