Sky to hike broadband and TV prices from April – you've got 30 days to check if you can switch, save

If that's what your T&Cs say then you can only switch (don't cancel) broadband, your Stream is still under minimum term. Just because you bought them at the same time doesn't necessarily make them a "package". You could try the complaints procedure online perhaps.
If you are constrained by the T&Cs BTW then (if Sky agree), you can still leave but you'll be subject to ETCs.

Problem with that was that it was sold as a package. The advertised product was packaged as superfast broadband with ultimate tv.. i didn’t select broadband and then select a different product an hour later. Does that not imply a package?

It doesn't matter what it implies, it matters what your T&Cs say.

honestlly, are you a sky employee? Even today the sky site has the same link to purchase the same package. If that is not a package then they should be held accountable for fraudulent advertising. At the end of the day i may be stuck for another six months but will leave sky and advise anyone considering joining otherwise. Hiding behind a sixty page document in fine print is poor practice. Even to the extent that the increases are based on rrp(which nobody pays) is ridiculous. In the fine print it is no more than 10% but not on what your contracted order is and the contract you sign but what the price they tell you the product is worth. In reality they have increased my prices by 15% again. It just leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

I think it's a bit harsh calling someone a Sky employee!
I just had a look on the Sky web-site, to see what you described.
It has TV deals under
and broadband deals under
but I was able to find the combined deals you mentioned underSo I looked at the first one, Essential TV + 300 Mbps for £35/month, and at the bottom of the panel about it, there is a link 'See all legals'
If you click on that link, a pop-up window appears with the terms and conditions, and in the middle of it, it says:
"Separate 24-month contracts apply to Sky Essential TV (£15pm), Sky Broadband (£20pm), and Sky Talk (£0pm)."
So it does look like they are separate contracts even if you didn't realise it.1 -
I thought I recognised you, you work on the next desk over at Sky don't you ;)

Has anyone else not yet received formal notification of the price increases from Sky?

I haven't yet.
I don't know if the email goes out on your billing cycle as my date is the 17th of the month.
