i am not very happy with hdn at the moment, we brought 2 of those vtech things that was on here for £12.97 from amazon before xmas, when hdn delivered them there was nobody in, so instead of giving them to a neighbour to look after, they just chucked them over our 6ft high back fence onto concrete behind, luckily they where not that fragile and we got them in one piece, but made me wonder what would have happened if they had been extremely fragile, as the boxes dod say fragile, and they still threrw them over the fence, Dave.Take every day as it comes!!0

I'm not sure if we will here from the OP again but if he does then I am willing to help him, he just needs to go about it a bit different. He needs to contact me via PM.
There are lots of reasons why things go wrong, not just for HDNL but every delivery company and these happen daily, (agency use, vehicle breakdown etc etc). The depot where I work is delivering roughly 10,000 parcels a day at the moment so things may go wrong but we do try and resolve it. Lets see if the OP replies to see if he gets his parcel 'cos I bet he won't post if the parcel arrives. He's slagged us off and thats the end of it.
I'm sure there used to be a thread on Citylink slagging them off badly months ago.**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0 -
I'm a bit concerned about my delivery with HDN. I managed to get one of those Brabantia bins from amazon when they were reduced recently. Had it sent to my parents house forgetting they were away and it now says "left on doorstep" as the latest tracking message. I hope they tucked it out of the way somewhere safe! (prolly not though). I thought it would need signing for but apparently not. Atleast they didnt leave it in the wheelie bin like one other company did!0

This is what the track and trace said for the bins we ordered. We arrived home to find they had been thrown over a 6 foot fence into the back garden!!! Will complain to Amazon as every parcel ever ''delivered'' by them has been left in this way and its not acceptable.0 -
I have had 15 deliveries in the last 2 weeks via HDN. I have had nothing but exceptionally good service from them.July Win: Nokia 58000

I work for a company who had a contract with HDN though they changed back to parcel force...too many complaints saying that in York i have had no problems at all.0

Have to add my experiences which are very good with HDNL. The man that comes is always cheerful and however many parcels hes delivering or collecting hes happy to do so.
I order quite a lot of stuff from Amazon, Kays catalogue etc as i have many customers and therefore use HDNL regularly.
Still dont quite understand though how when i ordered 3 of the Brabantia bins from the grab it in the last week or so, (which were all made seperately as my mum wanted one to start with, then my sister and then my other sister) ive had one delivered so far and am awaiting the other two. Thing is the one that has been delivered was the last one ordered.0 -
