So, there does seem to be a problem.

I phoned them and they said usually they credit the cashback on the statement date but there was a computer glitch so it hadn't happened. But all customers will have their cashback credited by the end of MarchMS Stalwart. Used site for >10 years :jMake Do, Mend and Minimise member - focussing on upcycling/repurposing and sewing0

So glad to find this thread as I have been wondering if I was the only one not to recieve it thus far!!! Saddo that I am I have been logging on to Egg every morning since March 4th (date I got it last year) to see if my account has been credited but alas no luck so far... was very dissapointed this morning, as I felt for sure it would show up today as any weekend transactions are normally added on the tuesday but know I know I'll just have to wait!!! But I am expecting £185.95 so worth waiting for...just better come through is all... or they might see Cyber-Psycho side of me:eek:0

I'm wondering how useful this Egg communication is, bearing in mind all they're telling you is what is already clearly stated in the T&C's and FAQ on the Egg website? For those who are still waiting for their accrued cashback payment from Egg Money Mastercard, here is your answer.
Secure message reply received from Egg regarding cashback.

Dear xxxxxxxx
We are not able to apply the cash back directly into your bank account.
The cash back will be applied to the card by the end of March.
Please let me know if you need any more information.

They're making it up as they go along. I've just checked my MS Money package and my last 3 years' cashback has been paid on:zebedy wrote:I phoned them and they said usually they credit the cashback on the statement date.
2005/06 - 31st March
2006/07 - 6th March
2007/08 - 4th March
...and my statement date is, and always has been, the 15th of the month.
Like I say, they're making it up as they go along!0 -
Yes, another one here who is patiently waiting for around £185 cashback...
The thing is, Egg have made such a ham-fist of Egg Money in recent months it wouldn't surprise me if they delay and delay paying it out. A bit of a cheek really when you consider they're bloody quick off the mark in shunting up interest rates on their cards, apparently mothballing Egg Money, and now have decided that they need three or four days to respond to secure messages when previously it was around 24 hours. So much for trying to retain customers...0 -
Like everyone else, I'm awaiting credit of cashback but as long as the account pays 4% interest, which gets paid in on 1st of the month, I'll stick with it. It's paying about 40 times what my ordinary current account pays and, for me, is one of the very few things making st00zing worthwhile at the moment.
I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

I'm in the process of running my stoozing down and closing most of my credit cards. I'll be keeping EM. Okay, they are slow at the moment, but their product is tip top.0 -
It's kinda ironic that I get more information from here than I do from the very company involved.
Waiting on over £160 and like everyone else it just disappeared one day with no word from Egg as to why. :rolleyes:Herman - MP for all!

Well my reply is here:
Not the clearest of explanations but it looks like it is going to be applied in April. The cash back is removed from the Egg Money Card in March and the re applied in the month of April, as long as it is over £10.00.
Please reply if there's anything else I can help with.
Thanks for your message.
