Tipton save and grow - branch account
I opened via old fashion printed application and Royal Mail with a cheque. Can see it online, how are people with this account funding it monthly going forward? I had thought I could transfer fund from my Reward Saver App account but I don’t think that will be possible as app says transfers only available for accounts opened online.

NW Flex RS @6.5% maturity. To avoid clutter of accounts I close the Instant Saver, transfer closing balance plus interest to your NW current account and then move that money to your best paying EA account. Online it is all done immediately. Diarise opening of new Flex RS for tomorrow.

Less clutter, close the account the day before maturity - pay balance + interest straight to current account.

I opened my Tipton S&G RS like you via the post and opening deposit by cheque. I fund 13 SO`s for £200 (from my nominated current account) starting 1/10/26 until 1/10/27. On the first page of the passbook it gives sort code, account number and reference number of account to pay into.

Were you able to open a new Flex RS on maturity day?

The day after closing the RS, so yes, on the original maturity date.

They might be more interested in an Easy Saver this time, since an auto rollover by keeping it open will be the only thing that might get another Halifax branded RS next year (as no one will have a Halifax login left to open one by then.)

I can't see why that's less clutter. Just a day earlier?

Has anyone any previous experience of withdrawing from Scottish BS? Found my scheduled withdrawal showing in the app and it is showing as going to the Scottish BS collection account (although it did have my nominated account showing correctly when I scheduled it and I have a screenshot.) It doesn’t auto-populate the reference on the app and I just put Scottish BSoc rather than my RS account number.
(Nobody should do a same day test payment before getting a withdrawal as they charge £10 for same day if I recall correctly.)
