If I were you I would keep it quiet. They will inform you if they close it. I tried to open the second one and this is the message I have got.

'Good News! you already have a Regular saver'

I was using an online banking. I have not tried to open the other one using an app though

Fact on Regular Savers from Money Supermarket Super Saver Club email received today :

"Research commissioned by UK Savings Week found that regular savers are more than 70% less likely to fall into financial difficulty than non-savers. Saving regularly, whatever the amount, can give you more than a growing balance. "

This wording is from Halifax’s Everyday Saver summary box. As far as I know my 8% Halifax RS is fixed.

Just got into app as did my wife. Weirdly for us both it lists accounts as if we have 2 but in fact they are both the exact same account, same account number balance etc

Anyone else's Nationwide FLEX RS matured overnight but is being prevented from opening another one as the iT still thinks they have one?
