I suppose it was launched by the Building Societies Association and they are not a building society. Not a good look either way, surely they could have gone a week before or a week later.
It’s been an odd savings week so far in that the only launch was a bit meh (Darlington 5.25%.) The last ones worth having were Progressive, Tipton and Leeds, which launched not far from Savings Week.

Not an RS, but useful as a feeder account or place to deposit matured funds: The Spring Accelerator Saver at 5% (max £5000) is only available until next Wednesday 30th Sept.

Does anyone know what happens if you accidentally open two regular savers? I applied and it didn't seem to have worked, so I tried again. I now seem to have 2 different RS accounts showing in my app.
I don't want to get in trouble. Will they just close one when they spot it, or should I contact them?

Tipton and Coseley BS Save and Grow RS - following up my own post, and in case anyone else is still waiting. Having opened the app version as a new user on evening of Monday 7 September, a paper application form for the branch version and cheque went in post 2nd class Tuesday 8th. Today Wednesday 23rd the branch account has appeared in the app. Actually it has appeared twice with the same account number, both with zero balance, but one has an uncleared cheque deposited today.

Tipton app problems.
It's a known issue. Mine has never worked. It all went well until I came to enter the posted code for the first time but has been a disaster since. The story is the app "fell over itself" due to the high volume of applications. Their IT folk could not fix it so they passed it on to the external developers who are now "working on it". I question how hard they are actually working because the problem has existed as long as the RS has and I still have no access. There are reportedly a number of people affected by this but I wasn't told exactly how many.
