Impressed with Leeds BS. Only posted my application for the Branch and Post Member Regular Saver yesterday, enclosing a cheque payable to myself, to the Freepost address I mentioned previously, and have just received this text message:

'This is an automated confirmation that your deposit was received and credited to your account today.
Please do not reply to this message.'

I m doing this, I transferred a direct debit over a month ago over to Zopa to test this and dd cashback at 2pc paid on it a few days ago. I'm waiting until I've earnt this years £30 limit before transferring to the new zopa benefit package. Hoping to bag £30 first and then 3pc thereafter.

If it's Leeds BS you're referring to, you can withdraw and close by faster payment, you just need to phone them and they'll do it over the phone, so no cheque required.

Tipton Save and Grow @6.5% - I have had an account with them a long time - impressed that they honoured my tardy postal application and now showing in the app. Worth remembering that the RS matures 31 October 27. So you can get a total of 14 x £200 payments in.
